It's amazing! They aren't lying about the thickness, quality, weight, or hand-feel. It's easily the best cleaver I've ever used, and it's heavy enough (almost 3lbs) to stand up to daily use. I don't normally really pay attention to packaging, but it's obvious that a lot of care went into the presentation. There's a little welcome card, with a branded cleaning cloth and a pin, which is a nice touch.The ONLY thing I can't comment on is how well it'll take an edge when I have to sharpen it, but it's sharp enough out of the box to get started, and if they were honest about the kind of steel then it shouldn't have any problems. The pictures make it look like a flat blade, but there's a minute curvature, more pronounced at the tip, to it that's hard to see.
