Tasty and easy to cook

First of all, these noodles are completely flavorless. The only purpose is to add filler to a meal so that you feel like you're eating something substantial. I just "discovered" them today. I ordered them for same day delivery, and I used them to make my dinner. I used the Food Wishes/Chef John video from YouTube to make his Creamy Bay Scallop Spaghetti. I've made it before with actual spaghetti, but this time I used these noodle instead of real spaghetti. It was DELICIOUS! These are absolutely a zero carb spaghetti replacement. The texture is slightly different than real spaghetti, but it's not unpleasant. In fact, I told my wife as I was eating my dinner that if I had grown up eating these noodles rather than spaghetti, I'd probably think spaghetti had a weird texture. These noodles are slightly springy, but not rubbery by any means. I put them into my sauce for the last few minutes as it was cooking, and the noodles absorbed the flavors of the sauce nicely. I have no doubt that I could invite company over for dinner, cook them this "pasta", and if I didn't tell them it was carb-free, FIVE CALORIE pasta, they would have no idea. This stuff is going to become my everyday pasta.

Open the individually wrapped/sealed pack and rinse it with water. Then mix it in to your dish. There IS a little bit of an odd smell, but it tastes fine - especially if you mix it in with something and/or put some seasoning or sauce on it. I really like the rice shape of these "noodles". I also like how there are individual packs - I keep it in my cupboard and then just pull one out when I need it. If you've ever had rice noodles, it tastes like that but in a little rice kernel form. It's a little bit like pasta in texture. It's a very good "filler" or "roughage" if you're trying to watch your calorie or carb intake.

It’s awesome product

Great product. I have had shirataki many times and it is a staple for me when I am cutting weight. Very filling with almost no calories. It’s not quite the same as pasta, but I really enjoy it and I highly recommend it as a pasta substitute for people who want to be in a calorie deficit but still feel satisfied after a meal!
