Taste is simple but great. These are great to have around for long-distance running; they’re easy on the stomach. They are crumbly, though. I wish they were a little cheaper.

Good flavor, wish it would take more abuse in my pocket, so they weren’t crumbs would be nice, but that would cause more packaging/more trash or alter the flavor of the waffle. Neither should be done.

Been wanting to try these for awhile for backpacking snack... finally got them for a multi-day 50 mile canoe camping loop in the Adirondacks. Whenever I needed a boost while paddling I'd take a bite or two from these. They are very sweet and delicious, and did seem to give that quick burn carb boost. Obviously, lightweight and don't take up much space. I kept them in my PFD pocket for easy access. Another plus is they re chewy, and bendable, so they don't crumble if squished a bit. They are also fairly filling, which is good, because I tend to love sugary snacks too much. These, one was plenty.

Honestly wrote a review for the energy gels as well. I absolutely love this brand. I love the waffles. I love the gel. I love the chews. The honey is probably my second favorite flavor. The caramel one is my first. But I would give just about any of these a five out of five stars. They’re super effective and great for before workout or even during. I highly recommend.

Unfortunately not as good as MELI honey waffles

I received my order today, but I'm dissatisfied with the packaging. The box looks rough and not very sturdy. Also, the expiration date is too soon for my liking.
