Bought for walking vacation but didn't want to pack runners. These handle cobblestones and uneven ground well. They are very comfortable and foot feels well supported. I have a normal width foot but lean slightly towards wide and they fit great. Also I can go between a 10 and sometimes an 11. The 10 is good. Bought brown sugar, very nice, a mid tan colour and the splash of pomegranate does not detract from the look. Would recommend.

These are fab sandals. Beautiful fit, good arch support. Took 2 weeks to come but worth the wait.

Got these in brindle to replace a pair I've been wearing for several years. The color is lighter than I thought it would be, but I like it a lot. It's nice and neutral. I should have done this sooner because they're so cushiony and perfect right out of the box. I ordered the same size as my last pair (8) even though for running shoes I'm a 9. I'll likely live in this pair and dress them up and down just like the old pair. I love wearing them to teach because they're supportive and comfortable yet my feet aren't sweating cooped up in closed toe shoes. Merrell better never stop making these sandals. They're perfect for walking and long days on your feet. They're identical in construction to my old pair and the sizing is still the same. (Now to order more colors...)

I love these sandals! I bought them for an upcoming trip where I will be doing a lot of walking, but will also have opportunities to wear casual dresses, so these sandals perfectly suit those purposes. Since I had read the reviews before buying, I did go a size down, and would definitely advise others interested in these sandals to do the same.
