It only fits on my extension ladder (Xtend and Climb) on the very top pair of rungs. This is because the upper mounting bracket is 12.5" wide and on on my ladder all rungs below the top one have the buttons to collapse that section and the stabilizer's upper mount won't fit those rungs because of those buttons. It fits on my extension ladders that are not Werner and it looks like it would fit most. It does a great job of spreading your weight out on the roof so you can be safe on the ladder and lean to the sides. The rubber stoppers on the ends are nice and protect the roof, while preventing it from sliding. Note that once it's attached, it adds a lot of top weight to the ladder, so it will throw off the balance when you try to move it.
