For years, I thought hot glue wasn't of much use. Then, someone left a small glue gun behind along with a handful of glue sticks. So, I tried it and found that hot glue could be useful. This one was ordered as a backup to that hand-me-down glue gun. Its package arrived in 19 days. Which was within both of the estimated delivery intervals which I received. The gun, its packaging and accessories were in good condition. Ten glue sticks were included: They are clear, just over 1/4" in diameter and 5-3/4" long. The gun has an ON/OFF switch on the lower, left side of the grip which eliminates plugging and unplugging it during intermittent use. There is also a wire bail-type stand which allows the gun's tip to be separated from the table, desk or bench whenever it is ON but not being used to apply glue. The glue melts readily and adheres well based on my initial impressions.

I am always in the market for a good glue gun to add to my collection and thought I'd give this simple inexpensive one a try. It is very light and I don't know if that is a good or bad thing, it almost feels like a toy because there is no weight to it. I do, however, appreciate the on/off switch, this is not standard on every glue gun and I think that's helpful. It comes with 10 mini-glue sticks, the glue got quite hot and actually had a bit of smoke when I applied it. The glue, despite the disconcerting smoke, did what it should and held the pieces of a ceramic statue just fine and did not have a burnt look to it. There is a stand that you will need to attach and it is just so-so. The wire is very thin and so the stand feels a bit flimsy. I couldn't actually get it to stand and ended up just draping the glue gun over the end of the box it came in to keep it from flopping over and burning anything with the metal tip. Just be aware of that; it might help better than nothing but I think there could have been a better option out there. For the price, it's a decent little glue gun and does what it should.
