Am glad to try a hybrid formula -as was hoping maybe this would provide superior protection (and ingredient stability in sun) vs chemical-only sunscreens without the whitening effect of mineral-only products. However, the sun protection with this seemed less, and it did not seem to be less whitening than my 20% zinc sunscreen (both eventually lose the whitening effect after a few minutes though). It smells like the common chemical sunscreens (not bad, but familiarly associated with such). However, the one issue that makes this s no-go for me is that it pills terribly on my skin (see photos). This occurs within an hour, looks obvious and and makes it impossible to apply make-up. The only thing under this is my serum that I let absorb onto my skin for at least 30 minutes before applying this sunscreen, but I still can't rule out non-compatibility with my serum. I gave this 3 stars as it is good to have a "hybrid" sunscreen with SPF50 as an option (for best of both with less of the toxic chemical sunscreen applied) and the inactive ingredients are very good (see photo) - and if you don't use skin serum under this, perhaps it will not pill as badly.

i am a big fan of korean skincare and always order k-beauty products from amazon. i use toners, creams and serums, but never had a chance to use a korean sunscreen. the 'lAPCOS DAILY SUNSCREEN SPF 50 for All Skin Types, 1.76 oz' is a good quality sunscreen. it uses both chemical and mineral filtration. it is non-irritating and moisturizing, so even someone like me with a dry skin can skip a morning moisturizer. the sunscreen comes in a small tube with 50gr of product. do not make a mistake thinking that you do not need a lot of product to adequately protect your face and neck, because you do. if you are serious about protecting your skin from harmful rays, than sunscreen is not a product to use sparingly. in addition, dermatologists recommend re-applying your sunscreen every 2 hours. all this means that this good sunscreen will be used up in a very short period of time. this is not a cheap product. as lovely as this sunscreen feels, i am not sure i will repurchase, given the price. if price is not important, this sunscreen is one of the best to try. recommended.
