It's so good that I've already ordered more.
As a daily tea, this is perfection. Fast shipping. Well packaged. Taste is a beautiful balance between sweet and woody. (and not overly woody). There is no drying of the mouth astringency and no bitterness. It would be a lovely afternoon tea, a gentle tea to share with someone who maybe hasn't tried a pu-erh before, or simply a perfect beverage to enjoy on a mildly warm, mid spring morning spent reading in sunshine.

Decent taste for price
This is a decent shou puerh. For the price, it taste quite nice. There are better shou's out there, but for the price of this one, this is pretty great tasting. I would definitely recommend to those who are new to gong fu Cha.

Fishy, nice mouth feel though
2.5 stars. It has a strong fishy taste that goes away after the 3rd steep. The initial wash just intensifies the fish smell. It's a shame because this has such a rich mouth feel. If you don't mind steeping several times before getting OK flavor, then this is your tea I suppose.

QUALITY AND QUANTITY
Its great quality and value! The chinese always give great value to customers vs western brands which i feel try to skim as much profits for the same or lesser quality. With this you get quality AND quality!

Foreign Items in The Tea
Very disappointed. I generally like Pu Erh teas from Jinglong Tea Factory but upon breaking into the cake I found strands of plastic and even someone's sunflower seed they most likely spit out! I think these teas are a good price and decent taste but this quality control has made me very weary of purchasing ever again.

Very smooth and rich tasting Puerh.
I was very excited to try this Puerh tea. It came recommended as a possible upgrade to the Puerh I was drinking on a normal basis. Two things really stand out about this tea that make it a step up from the rest. First, it's very smooth. I drink my tea strong and this tea drinks like rich velvet. It's deep red brown color has a very elegant and consistent taste. The second thing I noticed is how it breaks off the cake, the leaves separate very nicely and show the character of the leaf. This is an extremely sure sign of quality, being able to see the leaves open when brewing the tea and being able to appreciate their individual shapes; a sure sign that quality tea was used when forming the tea cake. Very good tea. I will buy again.

Pu-era tea
It is very tasty. It was hard to break off the leaves and I would’ve liked to know what year it’s from, but otherwise it’s very nice and I liked it a lot.

I am not a tea expert, but this tastes like puerh and can brew multiple times as expected. easy to break up. no issues, would get again.

I thought at first it was such a small amount for the price, however, if used wisely you can get more out of it if you just seep it 3-4 times per serving. I started with a 30 second seep using 8grams after the second Seep increased it to 1 minute sometimes after the 4th seep, you can still get a less flavoured drink, but it still tastes good.

Ok so this is Puerh tea yes.. Do not expect high quality at this price or great taste and mouth feel, aroma ect.. this is a tea that in my opinion you can use in a pinch while you wait or save up to grab some good high end quality tea. If your ok with low grade not much in the way of experience in a cup then this tea will be fine.. however even for the price of this if you shop around online at some high end tea places (not huge commercial ones) you will find much much better.. After taking my time and the seperation of the cake was completed it was literally 95% sticks, it was like they used the rejected junk from the picking process. (I believe they know this as well as in their instructions they literally tell you to crush it up like loose leaf tea? Anyone that has begun the journey into Puerh knows you need to be delicate and keep leafs whole, Not Crush them up) For reference I may not be an expert but I have been drinking all different varieties of Puerh, Oolong, Black, White, Green for approximately 23 years and you get all different grades from low to high during your first few years of experimenting and trying to experience all that you can to gain the knowledge around the teas you want to enjoy.. for me this is a NO.. for you it may be a great beginning to a journey into Puerh ... So I rated 3 stars because it's not for me and I doubt it will be for anyone looking for even a cheap tasty cup of Puerh..) Regardless of your choice.. Cheers to Tea.

I am not an expert on tea by any means. I steeped this tea as directed on the package. It turned the water brown, but there was absolutely NO flavor. Tasted like plain hot water! I won't buy it again.

It is Puerh tea but a lighter variety. It does not have that strong earthy flavor a lot of Puer teas have.
