This little Avantek wireless doorbell is exactly what I needed! Our old doorbell was on its last leg, and I didn't want to deal with the hassle and expense of rewiring. This one was super easy to install – literally just plugged the receiver into an outlet and stuck the button to my doorframe with the included adhesive. Took maybe five minutes, tops. I was a little worried about the range, as my house is fairly large, but the signal has been surprisingly strong. The button is on the opposite side of the house from where I plugged in the receiver, and it works perfectly. No missed deliveries or visitors anymore! The chime itself is nice and loud, but not obnoxious. There are also a ton of different chimes to choose from – I think I counted over 50! It was actually kind of fun going through them and picking one we liked. We settled on a classic "ding-dong," but it's nice to have options. The fact that it's waterproof is a big plus too. We've had some pretty heavy rain lately, and the button hasn't missed a beat. No worries about it getting damaged by the weather. For the price, this doorbell is an absolute steal. It's simple, it works, and it was incredibly easy to install. If you need a new doorbell, I highly recommend the Avantek Wireless Doorbell. It's a great little gadget that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

This is a fairly decent product at this price point but it is not without it's share of problems. The manufacturer claims this unit has an effective range of 1000 feet. Even though my receiver is only about 12 feet from the front door I experienced connectivity issues early on. At first I thought I was getting interference from my security door and in all fairness I suppose it could be a contributing factor. But though trial and error I discovered the signal was being blocked by my living room furnishings. I had to plug the receiver into a mini power strip with a three foot cord to elevate it high enough for a better sight line . (Not an ideal solution on a product with a MUCH longer stated range). This doorbell seems to be working fine now (I guess time will tell). I noticed many reviewers seem to like the variety of sounds available on this doorbell. I can't say that I'm one of them. Sure some are whimsical and even funny (for about ten minutes). But truthfully I really don't want a dog or a cat or a frog summoning me to the door. (I'm more of a classic doorbell dong kind of guy). I do think it's good though that there are other options available for those who do appreciate that sort of thing. I gave this product 4 stars but in reality I believe I would give it three and a half stars if I could. This isn't a terribly bad product. It offers easy setup and for the most part a functional doorbell that requires no expensive hard wiring in your home. If it lasts a reasonably amount of time I believe I probably would buy this doorbell again.

Bought this in 2019 and it still works on the same battery it came with in 2026. The button has been through melting hot weather and thunderstorms and still adheres on the trim beside my front door. I would definitely buy this again since it was easy to install, it's affordable, and durable.

Great door bell. It's perfect for my house that doesn't have one. I like it because all you have to do is plug it into an outlet and stick the remote outside and your done. Has different ring noises that are loud and sure to wake you up and alert you. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Unit was very easy to set up and saved the settings when unplugged just as advertised. If you're looking for a boring, basic doorbell sound this only has a couple, but I actually quite enjoy all of the available sounds it has. Many of the sounds are classic little songs that everyone knows shortened or slightly changed. Some examples are Für Elise, jingle bells, and the birthday song as well as a few animal sounds like dog, cat and bird. I was able to plug it into an extension cord so I could sit on my couch to go through all of the sounds and choose my settings, then I simply unplugged it and plugged it into an out of the way socket and the volume and sound settings stayed. Since we are renting I hung the doorbell button with command brand heavy duty velcro so we can take it easily without damage when we leave and bring it inside if needed. We can hear the tone through the whole house, even upstairs and the signal from button to main unit works even when it was plugged in over 20 feet away. Far better than I expected for the price.

Great alternative from getting a whole doorbell setup, just plug it in and it works right away. Has probably 30 foot range if not more. Thanks a great product and I recommend.

Not suitable for Singapore and it is very hard to plug in and it stop working frequently due to connection issue.
