Review: If you have bad water with lots of iron, you need to keep this stuff handy. I replaced my pool liner this spring and to save money filled it with the hose from my house. My water is very rusty, and I knew I would need something. So, I bought metal out and used it as directed. Needless to say, it worked wonderful!!! Pool filled, water was ugly, started filter and a day later pool was almost crystal clear. Couple of filter backwashes and a good vacuuming and the pool looks great. I will be supplementing with Metal Out every time I use the hose to top off my pool. Must have if you have rusty water.
Review: Don't fallow instruction about waiting for chlorine to be gone from pool , just put it in !!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it necessary to lower the pH and chlorine every month for the maintenance doses or just for the initial dose?**
A: I never do either. If you have metal in your water just add the metal out according to your pool size. Trying to get all the chemicals just right is almost impossible. This works fine.

**Q: Product used to be tinted blue or bluish.  Now it's a clear liquid, like water.  Will this product still work as before?**
A: It worked great for us!

**Q: Can this be used on a vinyl intex pool with sand filter**
A: I don't see why not. I have a sand filter, not an intex pool, though. It didn't hurt anything, but it also didn't DO anything.

**Q: Can it be used on fiberglass pools?**
A: Yes
