These are very soft and stretchy material. Pretty decent relaxed fit on me. There are two buttons in the back that I removed because I'm afraid they would damage my car seat :-)

So these jeans would get 5 stars if not for one thing. So the good: XL fit me 36”-38” X 30” perfect. Denim has a little stretch to it so they still fit after a Holiday dinner. They are very well made with the stitching really strong and deep. I keep asking and wearing them over over. Oh! And a strong zipper that stays up. So the bad? And it may not be bad for everyone but I just couldn’t give 5 stars just because the overall design or “look” of the jeans might be a tad dated. The work, faded looking denim with big designs stitched on the pockets with what looks to be yarn or really thick colored string so it kinda looks hand stitched? You know? Here: these jeans would look perfect with an Ex Hardy shirt. THOSE kinda jeans. But if you’re not a fashionista and just like a nice pair of well made jeans…. These are the ones.

I love the details on the pockets: red white and blue indeed. Perfect for 4th of July coming up soon. It's subtle and classy, just perfect. The material feels sturdy, like I can be wearing these for years to come.
