I froze the blue capsule overnight, placed it into the canister and sealed it with the lid. Within moments the display read 32F. I waited 7 hours for it to reach 42F. This was in my house the complete time and only opened once. So I can say this is a good "8" hour canister. Not 48 as claimed. That is more than enough for my flight so I am happy. Now you know ....
