Onyx Professional Hard as Hoof S.O.S Nail Patches - Nail and Cuticle Strengthening Treatment Repair Patches, Nail Growth, Repair, 20 Count

I have had problematic splitting nails for many years and this is the first product that has made a difference! Have tried all kinds of nail oils and other lotions, even vaseline. Nothing really helped. But this cream has helped my worst nail to heal. It was cracking vertically (from the outer tip halfway down to the nail bed) and becoming very painful. I rub this cream in several times a day (especially after getting my hands wet) and I saw a visible difference in just a couple of weeks. It's now almost healed, but I'll continue to use the cream to prevent future issues. It's a very pleasant cream (I got the unscented) and it rubs in very easily; does not leave a greasy or oily feeling because absorbs really well. My only complaint is that it comes in a tub and you have to put your finger into the tub to swipe out some cream. This is not as sanitary or easy compared to a squeezable tube.

My nails were left so thin from the abuse of acrylic nails that they hurt! It was almost like I had no nails and every time I accidentally knocked my fingers against something, they hurt. My fingers were left unprotected. I considered a nail hardener polish but I remember my podiatrist told me that any kind of polish is bad for healthy nails. The nails might be strengthened by the presence of polish, but it’s a temporary mask for nail health. Did you know that fungus grows under nail polish? Eeew! Applying Hard As Hoof 3x/day has greatly restored the health of my nails AND cuticles! I don’t get hang nails anymore! Yay! The cream nourishes the nails and cuticles and not only restores, but improves their health. It’s a keeper.

My rating is on the fragrance alone, I haven't used it long enough to see results. At first I wasn't a fan, it smelled overly sweet & almost medicinal, but the more I've used it, it's grown on me. I have bought a couple of cherry almond scented lotions & neither the Jergens cherry almond, nor Hempz dark red cherries lotion come anywhere near as good smelling as this nail cream. I NEED Onyx to make this fragrance into a body lotion please!!!! It reminds me of cherry cordial ice cream from UDF, I can't explain the smell any other way, it's scrumptious! Please make a body lotion if you don't already lol. I'm sitting at my desk reapplying it, & just smelling the jar lol.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this really exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but my thumb nail split vertically all the way down the nail. It was really painful and I was afraid I was going to catch it on something and tear it clean off! Online advice included using nail glue, but I was afraid it would be painful and then I found these. They stick really well. It stayed in all night. And protects my nail from snagging on stuff while I go about my day. The nail seems to be healing, too…and I’ve only been using them for three days. I’m very happy I tried these.

I had multiple friends recommend this to me for my thin brittle nails. I bought it in fragrance free and cherry almond. I thought it was going to be a little tub but was pleasantly surprised at the large size. It only takes a small dab of cream so one tub should last a long time. I feel it has helped my nails more than any other nail treatment I've tried (and I've tried a lot.) I was annoyed that when I was trying to purchase it, I couldn't easily find an ingredient list (I have a lot of allergies to H&B products so I need to know what's in them before I purchase.) It is rather "greasy" so it needs a few min of dry in time before I touch anything otherwise I leave residue on whatever I've touched.
