How many battries does it take

1 AA battery - Just FYI - the clock I received was very poorly manufactured and came apart after three trips. Was not worth the little money I paid.

It is supposed to be glow in the dark, but, it is extremely dim.

Where can I find a wind up clock? One that winds up manually and is sustainable? I do not want a clock that requires batteries.

I do not know. I thought this was a wind up that is why I bought it. I have 3 old wind up ones and they are my favorite
