If you are a Caramel Syrup in your Coffee person, this is a 4 Star Overall. BUT if you like fresh fruit and want to snazzy it up - THIS is IT!!!! UPDATE: so I originally rated this as four star for a coffee additive. Then one morning on my bowl of blueberries and cut up strawberry slices I thought "Hey, let me try this a drizzle on my fruit bowl?" Wow!! was I surprised! This is syrup is INCREDIBLE!!! On top of fruit, this is a complete game changer!!! You know there has always been something missing with that morning bowl of fruit. I've tried powdered sugar, sugar, artificial sweeteners and of course Sunday topping syrup but that defeats the purpose of eating a healthy bowl of fruit. This syrup has zero calories and actually is light. So it is the perfect match for a bowl of fruit. I can't believe, this is what I've been missing my whole life!!! Now we change "Smell" to an "aromatic flavor". Once, you experience this yourself you will understand exactly what I mean. I myself love fruit but for people that aren't real thrilled with fruit and add it to their diet this is perfect it changes everything on your fruit eating experience!!! Smell: Just not as strong as what you would expect in that caramel aroma (4 Star) Sugar Content: Definitely rates 5 stars. You can't beat skinny mixes on the lower sugar index Functionality: It serves its purpose. I'm away from home right now, this was the only option for low- or No-sugar-added available for delivery. Strength: Now, this may be where I might be mistaken? I am adding a little more than I usually do with other Sugar-free caramel syrups I use. Though it just is not making it strong enough??.... or it just has a lot lighter taste??...not sure, but it makes my standard "I can't wait to have my cup of coffee!" to "That cup was pretty good.". Ingredients are decent and the texture is like a really light syrup. Overall, if you are not real picky, it is a Good Caramel Syrup for those seeking a Sugar-free Coffee flavor!

FIRST COMMENT - 7th Jan 2025: I was so happy to see Amazon finally carrying Jordan's Salted Caramel syrup again that I didn't even notice the shrinkflation -- charging full price for half as much syrup? That's bad enough, but that's on me for not noticing. I opened it - it had a caramel smell, though not the same as it used to. Then I compared the two. I still have some left in my previous bottle from the previous recipe. I made two separate cups of coffee using the exact same amount of the old and new syrups. First I tasted the old one -- delicious salted caramel flavour. Then I tasted the new one -- no caramel flavour at all. Seriously? Salted Caramel was their best flavour ever - why change it?! It used to be the best. I won't be buying this new one again. ** EDITED 27 Jan 2025: I've since clarified with the company - they didn't change the recipe of the original "sugar-free" syrup. They've just made a new "naturally sweetened" version. On closer examination, this new half sized bottle says "Naturally Sweetened" -- very small and I didn't notice it. They said yes, the naturally sweetened version does have a different recipe to the original sugar-free version. These two product labels should be noticeably different - not just a small line of text that says "Naturally Sweetened". Check the titles and labels carefully guys. The complete lack of any caramel flavour in this naturally sweetened version (and the double-price) is still off-putting for me. Anyway, I just wanted to clarify.

Initial thoughts are that the natural sweetener aftertaste overwhelms the caramel flavour. I'll give it some more time to get used to it and maybe come back to change the review. At the moment though, I am thinking it's not great and I wouldn't recommend it to friends :(
