## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you use the wire-wool? I'd be scared it would take off the old polish or damage the surface. I have a Georgian oak table and love the build-up**
A: TBH I haven't used the wire wool yet, but assume that where there is a severe discontinuity (e.g. dent) between undamaged and damaged surface areas on a piece of furniture, you can use the wire wool to smooth and reduce the edge before going on to disguise and polish the flaw.

**Q: Can you use the wax directly onto french polish surfaces?.**
A: I applied the polish to my table but because it had been lacquered it didnt perform well. Therefore, I sanded the table back to bare wood, it was then sealed twice using Hardwax Oil, the final application was 3 coats of Gilboy’s polish with buffing in between coats and leaving overnight to allow the product to soak in. Hope this helps.

**Q: What is the volume of each tin, would there be enough to do a grandfather clock?**
A: 80ml in each tin. And yes there is enough to wax polish a grandfather clock. Please feel free to ask any other questions.

I recently bought the Gilboys starter kit with the aim of refinishing the stock on my Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon III over and under shotgun. Firstly, I must add, the exceptional attention to detail and hand finished touches of your product really left a lasting impression. The hand written note, beautifully scribed and extremely well presented. Put a smile on my face from the beginning. The product itself was so easy to use and apply, and the finish it left was absolutely phenomenal. As if I had sent it back to the factory, if not better. I was able to build up a fantastic shine and finish with thin layers of the product, with no hassle at all. Additionally the product arrived quicker than expected, and in this current situation, again, the service is above and beyond. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to care for any wooden item that they have. Simply Amazing, and what fantastic people!
