Once I knew how to reset it and made sure not to overextend the stick, it didn't bother me. But overall, the product works really well and smells nice, so I can live with the stopping mechanism, just have to keep that in mind and controlling how much to push up.

I first bought their matcha wax, but the smell reminded me of a grandma from Japan (I’m Japanese). Tried this one which smells way better to me. It seems “looser” though, so when I used just a little to slick back for a ponytail, by the end of the day, the wax had shifted its way onto my forehead. I’ll try using even less next time. The matcha one actually was so thick, it would pull baby hairs out. So I guess this is better than losing hair.
