Almost returned this as DOA, but its perfect
I thought this light was DOA, even after charging the battery I could not get it to turn on. While packaging it to return, I noticed a round piece of plastic/paper covering the negative end of the battery. I removed it, and put the battery back in the light and presto, it works great and is bright as heck.

All around great item
Terrific candler! Power is great, light is strong and battery is long lasting. Base is perfect size to cradle the egg soundly. Not awkward at all. Extra bonus with a charger included that I havent even had to use yet. Does well on white. tan, and blue eggs. Great item all around.

Excellent product!
I wanted to hold off doing this review until I had a couple hatch outs with my incubator. I can't suggest this candler enough. This light is a great price and perfect size to keep next to the incubator. It feels very well made and durable and it's brightness options are perfect for use. I was able to track my egg development and easily see which eggs were failed and when they stopped developing. I've already suggested this model to my father and would suggest it to others.

Works well. Not as well on darker eggs. I do like it though. Small and easy to use

Way easier to use than a classic flashlight or the ones that come on the incubators.

Works like it’s supposed to.
Works good. Does what it’s supposed to do. It works better than the lights that come on the incubators as well. I like the rechargeable battery. I’ve used it many times already and haven’t had to recharge battery yet. Good price and value for your money.

BEWARE
EDIT 6/18/25 Do not buy. Useless disposable thing , once the battery dies there is no way to charge it. There is a charger, but it doesn't charge anything. . . . Bought this egg candler with the intent of candling geese eggs. Tested it on chicken, geese, turkey and guinea eggs. Does the job great. I am happy with my purchase

So bright
This light is amazing ! Very sturdy and durable .Easy to place the battery directions come with it very simple to use and I saw all my babies the whole way up to they hatched!!! It was definitely worth the money ! I recommend this to all my family and friends
