Packaging: The product arrived undamaged and well packaged. Ease of Use: Connecting to the internet was difficult. I tried everything the app and customer service suggested. We have a TP link Deco Mesh system set to 2.4GHZ only. Never had any issues connecting any other smart devices but this one would get "stuck" at the third stage of the robot connecting to network. After 3-4 hours of messing with it, eventually I placed the router 1 foot away from the robot and it connected. I'm not sure why this would matter since we have full bars of wifi reception throughout the house with our 5 Decos. The app itself otherwise seems well designed, although there are some typos here and there. There are a plethora of function adjustments available with decent explanations of each. Cleaning: I've ran 3 cycles thus far of vacuuming and mopping. We have a large dog at home so lots of hair. So far it seems to outperform a roomba J8+ combo that we are replacing it with on carpet vacuuming. The mopping is very good so far as well with better results than the roomba. It does all this relatively quietly too compared to the roomba. It is using approximately half the container of clean water per mop cycle for our 800 square foot home. Battery: Battery life is actually not too bad. Some have complained that it drains too quickly. I find that on vacuum mode it does go down quick, but it can usually complete the mopping with a lot less power afterwards. For our 800 square foot level, it will need to charge once to complete a complete clean cycle with vacuuming 2 large area rugs, tiles/hardwood and mopping our floors. Build Quality: The robot and the base station do seem very well built. Nothing squeaks and everything seems very solid. I do with the mechanism to open and close the dust bin compartment and detergent compartment had a hinge so you do not have to remove the entire cover. Cons: The only potential downside I see is that the maintenance supplies (filter, brushes and detergent) seems to be priced quite high relative to what we paid with roomba. Perhaps this is due to the lack of non OEM parts since this is a new model. We will see how the components hold up and I will update this review. Overall taking off 1 star for initial connectivity issues and prices for accessories. Update to this review, we have now had it for 2 months. It does a good job mopping and vacuuming. Seems to use a small amount of detergent per mop session as the full fill that I did is about 1/3 depleted. The battery life has not gotten any better. Still taking about 4 hours to do a full vac and clean of our home. I also notice if you want to use the side reach function for either the mop or side brush, this needs to be set to frequent. The brushes and mop pads are holding up well. I've been replacing the pads every 3 weeks with a backup pair for a deep clean.

This is a great vacuum and at a great discount right now (50%). Suction power and effectiveness on carpets is remarkably good, and the brushes stay clean, and do a good job of agitating the carpet - so if vacuuming carpets is import to you - this is a GREAT unit. The spinning side brush design is far better than most others and actually performs its intended function much better than other robot vacs I have owned. The filter and dust bags are ample for the task they perform. Mopping for me was secondary but still important. The mopping finesse of this unit exceeds my expectations, and the self attaching/detaching mops work flawlessly. I have not had a good mopping solution for some time, and manual mopping always seems to wait until the floors are deplorable. Not any more! Both bathrooms, the hallway and kitchen are kept in just about perfect shape with once a week scheduled mopping, and the occasion 'oopsie' manual run of the mopping routines. Its mop self washing routines do a GREAT job, and they are left dry and safe to let sit without worry of mold or stinkyness. It's mapping routines are truly amazing, and faster than any other robovac I have ever seen. Truly less than 10 minutes, maybe even only 5 minutes, and the entire house was mapped extremely well. It even recognized certain room and labeled them correctly (Bedroom, living room, always, kitchen, bathrooms). It decided the office is 'Living room 2' and I haven't quite figured out how to change that label. If I have to live with that, its ok, my Grandfather always called the garage 'the barn', so I guess everything has its quirks. LOL. The rising and lowering scanner on the top is interesting, but I haven't quite figured out how to leverage that so it can get under the bed support frame legs, but it still does an effective job under the bed. The 'climbing legs' feature wasn't something I expected to use as the home is pretty flat, but it still uses them to get over transition from tile to carpet since mine are apparently higher than the robot prefers. When it puts those legs up, It kind of looks like its getting ready to do a track and field event, but it gets the job done. When I first got it, I was afraid I might have to return it because it would enter its charging base, but would not charge (yes, the firmware was updated to the most current), but it turned out that after I let it finish a vacuuming cycle the first time it returned to the base and viola, began a charging cycle. No issues since then. I do wish it was a bit more willing to extend he mops and side brush - sometimes it doesn't when doing so would help a lot, but I understand there may be settings I can explore that will fine tune this, and always the chance for firmware updates that could help. Like most robot vacs, the edge vacuuming performance is not that great because the carpet brushes don't extend to the edge of the unit. The very effective extendable side brush helps, but this will be an occasional manual vacuuming need to handle the edges. The application is a bit sluggish to the touch, but works reliably once you get used to its cadence of touch-response. The product features are many, and may not have the very best arrangement in the app to make it clear when and how to use them all. There is a way to 'pin' custom cleaning routines to the app, but I haven't been able to figure out how to use that feature yet. I hope they will make improvement in this over time. Durability with a device that has so many mechanical features is a question mark, but it bears a 5 year warranty. So assuming I don't have to pay shipping to China and deal with customs paperwork, I'm not that worried about it right now. Purchased this at 50% off, and feel as if it was a good deal, meeting all the priorities I had for both vacuuming and mopping. I'm happy with this purchase, and with not having to regularly manually mop any more!

This machine is way too good to be true. I pride myself on being a deep obsessive cleaner but my "Amelia" puts me to shame. Some tips. Make sure before you do ANYTHING that your wifi can handle the 2.4 g band and can easily switch to it. I had to phone my Internet provider to work through that. But naturally I wanted Amelia in action ASAP so the first mapping I did of the house is sun optimal. Just wait till you're a hundred percent connected and connected with Alexa and then start. I particularly love the picture feature where Amelia snaps pictures of the animals while she's in their path Expensive as hell but save your pennies and dollars for it.

I got tthis for my parents, and it’s been a game changer for them. The suction is super strong, so it picks up all the dust, crumbs, and pet hair without them bending or struggling. It vacuums and mops at the same time, and the mop cleans itself and dries, so they don’t have to deal with messy mop water. It avoids furniture and obstacles really well, even goes over door thresholds, and they can control it easily from the phone if they want. The base auto-empties the dust, which saves a lot of effort, and the floors come out spotless. For my parents, it’s perfect—keeps the house clean without them having to lift a finger, really helps them stay comfortable and reduces the physical strain. Yes. True, a bit expensive. I wish myself having the same stuff in the future. The price can be lower, so that my dream can come true earlier.

I’ve been really impressed with this Dreame product. It vacuums and mops at the same time, which saves me a lot of effort compared to doing everything separately. What I like most is that it picks up dust, hair, and small messes very well, and the floor dries pretty quickly after cleaning. The machine is also easy to maneuver and doesn’t feel too heavy during use. The self-cleaning function is also a huge plus and makes maintenance much more convenient. Overall, this has been a great deal and has helped keep the floors much cleaner with less work (give me more time to play games). Very happy with this purchase.
