A Must-Have for Aquatic Health!
I’ve been using API TAP WATER CONDITIONER for a few weeks now, and I’m extremely impressed with its effectiveness in keeping my aquarium water clean and safe for my fish. Here’s why I’m giving it a 5-star review: 1. Perfect for New Aquariums and Water Changes: I’ve recently set up a new tank, and this conditioner has been a lifesaver. It quickly removes harmful chlorine, chloramine, and heavy metals from tap water, which could be toxic to fish. It ensures the water is safe to use without waiting for the water to sit for days. 2. Safe and Effective for All Fish Species: Whether I’m adding new fish to my tank or doing a routine water change, I feel confident using this product. It’s safe for all types of freshwater fish, including my delicate species. I haven’t noticed any signs of stress in my fish after water changes, which speaks volumes about the quality of this conditioner. 3. Easy to Use: The API TAP WATER CONDITIONER is super easy to use. I simply add the recommended amount per gallon of water, and it instantly works its magic. No hassle, no mess—just pour and go! 4. Great Value for Money: Considering the price and the amount of product you get (16 ounces), this conditioner is a great value. It lasts for a long time since you only need a small amount with each water change, making it an affordable option for any aquarium owner. 5. Fast Acting: The conditioner works fast! I can fill the tank with treated water and immediately begin acclimating new fish. I’ve had no issues with cloudy or unsafe water when using this conditioner, and it’s consistently kept the water quality at its best. 6. Trusted Brand: API is a well-respected brand in the aquarium industry, and it’s a name I trust when it comes to my fish’s health. Their products are always reliable and effective. Final Thoughts: If you’re an aquarium owner, whether you’re new to fishkeeping or a seasoned pro, I highly recommend the API TAP WATER CONDITIONER. It’s safe, affordable, and does exactly what it promises—ensures clean, safe water for your fish and keeps them happy and healthy. 💯 Five stars – a must-have for any aquarium enthusiast!

Healthier water for healthier plants
Looking forward to healthier and happier plants. Going by all the reviews, this product seems to stand the test of time. I haven’t used it yet, but I’m certain it is much more effective, and of way higher quality, than tap water. No smell. And the cap has a 1 mL measurement which is really nice for me, since I use gallon, or less, containers, for watering. Great expiration date for lasting a long time.

Affordable, and Effective Water Conditioner
I’ve been using API Tap Water Conditioner for years, and it has consistently delivered great results. For me, it’s the perfect balance of effectiveness and price, it works just as well as higher-end brands, but at a fraction of the cost. A 16oz bottle lasts me around 5 months while maintaining two aquariums (a 20-gallon and a 40-gallon), which makes it an incredible value. The built-in measuring cap is a simple but very handy feature, it takes all the guesswork out of dosing. My routine is to add half the recommended dose while refilling the tank and the other half once it’s completely filled. In all the time I’ve used this conditioner, I’ve never had a single issue with water quality or fish health related to tap water treatment. It’s easy, dependable, and budget-friendly, exactly what I want in a staple aquarium product. Highly recommended for any fishkeeper.

This stuff works!
I purchased this nearly 2 years ago and it is still over half full. I have 3 fish tanks totaling 150 gallons of water and roughly 80 houseplants. So I USE this stuff. But it only takes a drop to condition a gallon of water. This product at this price is an absolute STEAL! I have water testers that test for chlorine and this stuff never fails to neutralize the chlorine in the water.

Great for Fish-less Cycling New Tanks ONLY
I got this water conditioner because the reviews stated that it caused an ammonia spike in their water. In order to start the Nitrogen cycle in new tanks, you have to add some sort of ammonia source first. I added this to my water on September 9th and now I have nitrates present in my water on September 23 ( around 5-10ppm according to the API freshwater kit). My tank cycled in 2 weeks, but is nowhere near ready for my shrimps due to my tank not having many plants or other hiding places for them.(While I wait for my plants to get here it is a good idea to test my water consistently to make sure the ammonia, nitrites and nitrates are stable before I add any livestock in them) If you are keeping shrimp I would not recommend for you to continuously use this product while you're stocked with them; shrimp are very sensitive to ammonia and even .25ppm might kill them. Be careful with those shrimpys!! If you are using this to start your fish less nitrogen cycle I completely recommend it, but once nitrates are present in your water, you should switch to a water conditioner that does not contain ammonia. The only reason why I am continuing to use this water conditioner is because I do not have any livestock to create ammonia in my tank that keeps the nitrogen cycle flowing. Additional information (these may have effected how fast my was tank cycled) -I did 1 water change on the 16th... so a week after I added the water conditioner....I plan on doing a 20%-50% water change every week to ensure the nitrates don't get too high.( I'm just experimenting with the water changes to be honest so don't do what I do) -My tank is 5.5 gallons with one lonesome java fern and a moss ball. -filter is the stock one from Topfin 5.5 gallon tank kit(Petsmart brand) -I use Eco complete substrate and is surprisingly growing my java fern well (got a new sprout today and roots are looking good) -I used the water conditioner along with Imagitarium Biological booster (although I wouldn't recommend it because not all bacteria boosters work the same for everyone) -Temp is around 80F or 26C (made hot to help speed up bacteria growth) -Light is stock one from Topfins' 5.5 gallon tank kit (8-10 hours of light daily)

I like this one because it’s just one drop/gallon. Makes it easy to add to fish tank. Most of the other brands have you pore it into the cap and are so many ml/gal which sometimes makes it hard when you only need it for smaller tanks. Sometimes I just add a few gallons and I put just 3 drops in. Easy and never had a problem and I’ve been using this stuff for years. Sometimes it’s hard to find as it’s out of stock. I used to be able to buy it in store but Amazon has been the only place I could buy it for many year for some strange reason.
