Amazing sound and quality for the price, BT connection issues
My first pair of BT stereo speakers bought them for my MBP and new desk but man these speakers are seriously nice. I am a self proclaimed audiophile have a really nice home setup, NAD Amp, Dynaudio speakers etc and when I fired these up for the first time a couple of days ago I was and am impressed. Read all the high end stereo online reviews and so glad I went with these but they are more than just your hi end computer speakers these are serious Audi devices. Highly recommend and could not be happier with my purchase they come with all cables and are easy to pair. UPDATE- After having these for month now I wanted to share my experience. - Sound is fantastic, be sure and enable LDAC on your phone, computer whatever you are transmitting with and as high a bitrate as you can in the app. - Bluetooth is VERY flaky we MR5 owners need a BT update. Works fine when paired but if I stop streaming and change BT endpoint or make any changes etc I have to unpair and re-pair the speakers to my phone. It will show connected but won't stream music or sound, tried it with Samsung S24U and iPhone 17 and it is definitely an issue that needs addressed. Restarting phones doesn't help, still shows connected just fine but no sound. Go to BT settings and unpair and put the MR5 in BT discovery mode again, pair and enable LDAC on phone and they work fine until next time. - There are 3 BT channel lights, white, green and red doesn't matter which you are on they still stop streaming sound under most circumstances I previously mentioned.

Great bookshelf
Came with no issues just plug and play. Sounds are great, clear and crips didn't need to go higher that vol.10. Worth the price.

My Two Cents!!
I'm not a professional, but I've been experimenting with self powered bookshelf/desktop speakers for years, claiming to have exceptional sound quality. Some good and some not so good. A good balance of highs & lows are very important and lets not forget the mid range. I'm 69 years old and I don't need a lot of house shaking bass, but the bass is there. It has tuned ports and is down firing, a great design. Using a graphic equalizer you can...bring it out! But for me, Rock & Classical Instrumentals are very clear with great separation, the best I've heard so far. For the price, I don't think you'll be disappointed. And for the cosmetic look it's an A+. On my desk, they have a studio look. Again I'm not a professional. Enjoy!

Nice Speaker System for Smaller Quiet Spaces
Nice speaker system for the money. Sound quality is good for this size speaker, not quite enough power for my pool room area but adequate overall. Bluetooth works well, equalization controls barely adequate. Good functionality and quality is nice overall. Nice size and surprisingly hefty in weight which is usually a good sign.

Studio Quality Monitors with great bass for low to mid levels
I am an audiophile. I have probably 15 pairs of esoteric speakers from Allison One (prototypes), Sunfire TrueSubwoofer, B&W, Bang & Olufsen, Canton, Ohms, and Bose 901s. These speakers sit to the right and left off my raised platform for my Mac Studio Workstation, and design studio. The sound quality is just F* unbelieveable from such a small foot print. The amps have such a high signal to noise radio, it makes my ears hurt that they are so "quiet" during the quietest sessions of music tracks. The sound quality from a computer speaker, or should I say a studio monitor, was one of the best experiences I have had with speakers over the years. I switched from listening to music on Apple Music and Amazon Music to "Tidal" running at 24bit & 192khz and I would say that my research was SPOT on from the reviews and sound quality. The sound floor was quiet while the music was clear and crisp, with great low end bass. I made the switch as many bluetooth speakers have a few microsecond delays while playing video and it could NEVER sync with someone's face and mouth movements. So using the Analog outputs from the Mac Studio and the Analog inputs on these Edifiers, it resolved the issue(s) once and for all. No sync issues now! And fantastic sound with NO background hiss from noisy amps.
