UCO Clarus 118 Lumen LED Mini Lantern and Flashlight with Dimmer and Strobe (Latest Generation)

This thing is just as described. It's super bright, lightweight, reasonably rugged and durable, and water resistant. It's smaller than I expected, but that's a good thing. It's frankly tiny, and puts out an astonishing amount of light for its size and weight. It actually functions decently in both lamp and flashlight mode (in my experience most of these hybrid lights are good lanterns but crappy flashlights). I'm very happy with it. I can't speak to the battery life yet, I haven't used it that much, but I expect it will be as described, more or less. I'm VERY happy with this purchase, and plan to buy several more. These are PERFECT for BOBs and GHBs, as well as for camping. It's also great for at home when the power goes out - one of these nicely lights up an entire large room on high.

I have the larger version of this light as well. Bought the smaller one for portability issues. Great for camping. Small but plenty bright and dimmable. Great light.

Very nice lantern-flashlight. I keep it in my scooter and really appreciate the strobe function for emergency stops at night. This was a good value and I would buy it again. But here are some features I wish this lantern had:1. 118 lumens is great but it shines too bright through the translucent top cap. The only way I can enjoy the light is to hang it above my head.2. I wish this had infinite dimming capability and I wish the on/off/dimming button were on the side rather than the bottom so I could adjust the light while it is sitting or hanging better.3. I wish it would save the last setting, but instead it defaults to the brightest setting making me cycle through to get the setting I want.4. I wish the foot were a larger diameter. This lantern is fairly tall and thin and tips over easier.Having said all that, I am very happy to have this lantern at such a good price and I would buy it again.

I bought this to use on my hiking trips in the American Southwest. I have been very pleased with it - it has seen me through some stressful times, when I had to hike in the dark in the wilderness. The light is bright and the batteries last a long time. Highly recommended and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

Tightly constructed, economical and useful for all sorts of things. Lightweight nad good for travel. The flashlight function works really well. The lantern function has many uses for camping, reading or as a work light. And the batteries seem to last for a long time.Just bought my third one having given the last two to admiring friends.

Lamp went out in two months. And yes I tried new batteries

This is my favorite go to light for camping.. It has a small size, decent light range, long battery life, you can switch it to lantern mode if you need to.

Works good just not real bright in lantern mode.When using as a flashlight you get light out the side and it shines in your face making it had to see .
