Stops hair from clogging in dump sink from washer
Yall don’t know how much hair you’re flushing down the sink from your laundry until you use these suckers. Bought the pack a month ago, still on the first one and it’s caught so much pet hair! Easy to attach, can adjust to fit many size hoses, and works great! You get 50 of them in a pack, that’s a helluva deal.

Great for compact washing machine
This is perfect for filtering the lint from a washing machine hose. I have a compact washing machine and this was perfect to caught everything. The filter is long and comes with twist ties. The filter is not cheap, nice and steady.

Works great but needs replacing more often
Very effective and stopping lint from clogging drain. So effective it has to be replace more often than most, but that's okay. Good value for money.

Excellent at capturing lint and protecting your drain
My washing machine hose discharges into a laundry tub. The laundry tub drains into a concrete pit and a sump pump lifts it to the drainage system that exits my house. As a new home owner, I did not know anything about sump pumps and lint so I landed up having to replace the sump pump after two years of use. The plumper who replaced the sump pump told me to get a lint screen. And I did. So for the last twelve years, we have used a fine wire mesh screen that fits over the laundry tub drain. And it works fine as the sump pump lasted ten years longer than the original one and is still going strong. The only catch with the wire mesh lint screen is that it is so efficient at capturing lint that the lint lands up clogging the screen. The lint clogged screen will not allow any water to drain. Unless someone is there to clear the screen each time the washing machine cycles water between the wash cycle and the rinse cycle or the rinse cycle and the spin cycle, the laundry tub will fill and overflow onto the floor. I bought these lint snare traps to put on the end of the discharge hose from the washing machine into the laundry tub. I left the wire screen lint trap over the drain to capture any lint the lint snare trap did not capture. I have done several loads of laundry and can say these flexible lint snare traps work great. They capture so much lint that there is little accumulation on the wire mesh screen about the drain plug. No more danger of overflowing laundry tubs! The only potential drawback to these flexible lint snare traps is them seem a little shorter than the advertised length. But with fifty of them in the package, I am not concerned about running out anytime soon. Overall I found this to be a good buy for my needs.

Hose lint trap for washing machine.
Great purchase. I’m testing it today and tomorrow. So far these catch the lint from the washing machine and does not back up water flow to the machine. (I used to use old pantyhose. But I don’t have anymore.) BE ALERT TO WATCH THE WATER AND THE LINT TRAP. THE TRAP CAN OCCLUDE THE WATER DRAIN AND LET THE TUB OVERFLOW. I tied off the bottom of the lint trap into a know. 1 should last me several laundry loads before I have to change it.

Cloth stretches too much, so much it blocked my drain and overflowed

Drain saver. Stink resolver. Plumbing protector. Great for septic tanks.
This is amazing stuff. I am on a septic tank and need to be mindful of what goes thru the drains. 6 months after buying my house a horrid smell filled my laundry room whenever I did laundry. Calling plumbers couldn't find the issue. Read about the insane amount of lint that releases in a wash cycle and clogs plumbing. I got these socks for the drain hose in my utility sink. Game changer. No more plumbing stink and wasting money calling plumbers. It's been several months. I am saving my septic tank and older plumbing from further rot. It catches cat hair, human hair, and fuzz from clothes blankets whatever I wash. A simple zip tie and sock around the drain hose. I do laundry 10 times a week. I get 2 to 3 weeks out of 1 sock. I don't use fabric softeners or scent beads. Just bleach and tide detergent. Not too much. Soap accumulates in the lines and causes back ups too. Too much soap in the clothes wears them out and cakes them in soap that you end up wearing. Even if you're on city sewer, being mindful of what you let go down the drain will make a difference.
