Purchased these to upgrade the lighting in a 50-year-old house with limited overhead lights and much of the lighting via 50-year-old table lamps. 15 minutes after installing them went back and ordered more for the rest of the house! Six of these will easily light 1,000 ft² PROS This bulb runs cool enough to be used upside down in a totally enclosed light globe without creating dangerous heat. After hours of on time the globe and metal base are cool enough to be safe to the touch. The bulb runs even cooler in a traditional upright lamp application. For a bulb with this much light output the size is very good. The neck is long enough to fit into very old lamps without any clearance issues. The bulb is still short enough to fit inside of some very old ceiling fans that typically have clearance issues with brighter lights. CONS The bulb uses a hollow core design which greatly aids in keeping the bulb cool. However the open top design creates a dark circular shadow and a light output when viewed directly head on. The light output color is extremely white which may be somewhat harsh or off-putting in some areas where a more natural daylight color tone may be desired. These bulbs are super white. The lifespan of this bulb is still to be determined. Paid review: No Would purchase again: Yes

Super bright and distributes the light very well. I compared this with another 60W super bright LED and it was over 100% brighter using a lux reader app. Either other brands lie about their brightness (most likely) or this one lies about being weaker than it actually is.

The SANSI 400W Equivalent LED Bulb is unbelievably bright—at 6000 lumens, it lights up any space like daylight. I use three above my kitchen island, and it makes cooking and working in that area so much easier with the clean, crisp 5000K daylight color. I also replaced the two bulbs in my office, and the brightness keeps the whole room well-lit and comfortable for reading, writing, and computer work. Even with this incredible brightness, it only uses 40W, so it’s very energy efficient. The bulb feels sturdy, runs cool, and with a 22-year lifetime, it’s built to last. Overall, it’s the brightest and most reliable LED bulb I’ve found, and I highly recommend it for kitchens, offices, workshops, or anywhere you need excellent lighting.

I collect high end flashlights with true lumen ratings output. I wanted a better bulb for my backyard so i can see my dogs better when they're outside. I seen this 6k lumen bulb and thought I'ma give it a try. No lie, this bulb is not a joke. I believe it's true to its lumen rating and it almost turns my back yard into daylight... almost. It even lights up the trees a good bit and my neighbors fences and houses a decent amount. (I think they're gonna hate me soon). When my girl turned it on, she called me on the phone and said the exact same thing... "I think or neighbors are gonna hate us." In the far distance, it's visually brighter for your eyes than it is in the picture i took as my camera dims the brightness. But, it'll give you a good idea. If you want an excellent bulb to really light things up this was well worth the price. Hopefully it last near 50,000 hours or so most led's are rated for. Time will tell. If i get even just a year use out of it though i will rebuy it again when it goes out. I will post a picture i took the first night. It's roughly about 150 feet from where my bulb is to the woodline at the very back of my yard and almost 200 feet to the same woodline on the far right of my yard to my neighbors fence.
