A couple we're a little wiggly but most were sturdy none have broken at all or even come close, and I've used them on cheese blocks, it them through the dishwasher and scrubbed them down hard. I only have two complaints and one isn't even about the cutlery itself.1 The steak knives had a black residue when I first got them that took soaking them in hot water and completely scrubbing each little groove with a dish scrubby.
