Very good!
Very good! This tester is valuable, cheap, and functional. If you look at the photo with the Gallon of distilled water with baby on display, you will see it is clean. The one next to it is also clean; it came from my under-sink filter. I tested a bunch of bottled waters and most brands had dirty water in them. Some even had heavy metals! It's crazy! I highly recommend this tester. Take care of your health!

This is a game changer!
I like how fast it works in any water. Though I am not happy about what is in the Tap Water and too the amount of Fluoride left in water after Reverse Osmosis Filtering that is allegedly supposed to take out 99.9% of both Fluoride and Chlorine. However it took some time to get the Filtered Water to even change color to a yellow tint (Indicating presence of Fluoride) so I wasn't to alarmed at that. The Tap City water though is horrific when it comes to the color of sludge indicators on the device. Showed presence of Arsenic, Lead, Zinc, Rust and Organics along with other Micro Plastics and things that aren't supposed to be in water deemed safe to drink, wash or shower in along with watering plants and providing water to loved pets.

DOES THE JOB
Quick results. Unfortunately product labeling not in English. So had to go onto Amazon's product page for description of water color to determine contaminants. The product got hot and started to smoke, is that normal? Anyone else experience that? I have sent that question to seeker today as well. I did hear from the seller and I left it on too long. Once saw results turned off, no overheating or smoke. Would change to 5 stars as worked well except for there were no instructions or labeling with product in English. I do recommend the product. Use the instructions in the Amazon details on this product.

Tested several sources of water!
Ok, I just got this product it is super easy to use. I tested a few different sources of water to verify results. I tested both distilled and water filtered with a reverse osmosis system. I did those tests with clean and rusty iron rods and got no change either way with those types of water. I also tested tap water, water run through a Pur and Waterdrop filter pitcher, water from a friend's well, water through a fridge water filter at work, and water through a filtered drinking fountain water system at work. Each test should last 30 seconds to a minute. I had got different results. The well water turned orange in color indicating iron. My friend has a lot of iron in his water. Every other place I tested produced shades of green aside from the distilled and reverse osmosis water. This does show differences in chemicals based on my results. This will only tell if contamination is present. It won't identify it or show exactly how much is there. However, a quicker or more solid color change does mean more contamination. This is a quick and easy way to see if more testing is required. If I had well water, I would definitely want this tool.

Definitely a scam, will explain
There are a number of videos about this and I wanted to do my own experiment. 1) this product is extremely dangerous. Only one side of the power line is protected by the switch, but the plug is not polarized to ensure the user is always protected. I am a wire-biter and know how to be safe. 2) I should have taken a picture with the control, however, you can see plenty of evidence of what happens when you use it as "intended", I.e. one cup tap water, one cup RO water. The image I have attached is my actual experiment. 3) what this device does (to some extent) is show you the conductivity of your water, and while conductivity of water is determined by dissolved solids, the resulting scuzz in the glass is the result of a reaction between the iron anode, aluminum cathode, and the water itself. So: First I ran it normally--as stated, one cup tap water, one cup from my RO unit. The electrodes are not attached when you receive it, so they cannot be “coating one set” as another reviewer claimed. Result: as claimed, tap water nasty, RO water pretty much clear (except for some brown—we’ll get to that). I gave it some time to cool down (it gets very hot, YouTube user “DiodeGoneWild” shows that the power draw is enormous, and is variable depending on the dissolved mineral content of your water: tap water was about .6kW, mineral water was 1.2kW) then ran the experiment with the glasses switched. Result: the same; tap water nasty, RO clear. The last thing I did (this violently blew the fuse on it) was: while it was still running in the same glasses as before, I started adding table salt to the RO glass. As you can see in my photograph, it generated a fair amount of blue-green precipitate before the whole thing died. Now, for the brown: as shown in a video by YouTube user “mopatin”, the iron anode is rapidly oxidized by the process of electrolysis, resulting in, essentially, a precipitate of rust. Anyway, three stars because my experiment was fun, but the theory behind this device is bunk. Don’t try this at home unless you’rea professional.

Omg the things you will see
So I bought this thing to test my tap water. All of the colors came out pretty much. Before I bought this I hadn't no idea how bad my water is. This stuff I pay for from the town. It's so bad I won't give it to my cat, And I feel like a bad cat dad..... Like you put two prongs in the bad water. Two prongs in some purified water. You're gonna see stuff. It's gonna look like sorcery... The colors coming out of your tap water. The contaminants inside it. If your tap water tastes funny this thing is really cheap. By the one labeled in chinese and then just google the label in english. Save yourself a couple bucks it's the same machine. I did the test I posted it to facebook. Most of my friends won't drink tap water anymore or give it to their animals. I can't even begin to tell you how surprised I was to see all that. For peace of mind nine bucks ain't very much... Please for the love of whatever you believe in check your water. It could be what's making you sick.
