This percolator, which we named 'Perry the Percolator', because it was SO worthy of a name. It makes the best coffee EVER! Of course use organic, good coffee beans and grind them yourself ... BUT ... we did that with our old PLASTIC coffee machine. Who knew that PLASTIC could ruin the taste of coffee??? As well as, plastic is toxic. SO THROW OUT THAT BIG, UGLY HUNK OF PLASTIC ... and step into the world of the most delicious healthy coffee you've ever drank. PS - for convenience we prefer the electric pot VS. brewing it on your stovetop.

Not pleased. Stopped working after 2-3 uses. Directions said to unplug it and let it sit awhile. That did work, but the damn thing just decides to stop brewing whenever, at any point in the brewing process. The red light goes out and brewing has stopped. and it is NOT an electrical issue. If I am standing there, I push the button again and it will restart but who wants to stand there and wait? Plus side, coffee is very hot. Other than noted above, coffee grounds still find their way into the pot, so it's best to skip the last little bit in the pot. Probably will run this over with my truck sometime soon just for the joy factor and unpack my old-fashioned coffee pot.

Great percolator! We wanted to go back to drip coffee due to the expense of using pods. This coffee pot is fast! Coffee is ready to drink in less than 4 minutes. The pot keeps the coffee hot for 2 hours and then automatically turns off. Nice design. I gave it 4 stars because, like everything these days, it’s not as sturdy and well made as back in the day. I’d buy it again though. Does exactly what we wanted it to do.
