Asiatic Star Jasmine Plant -Trachelosperumum - Fragrant - 2.5" Pot

I bought this jasmine plant on Dec 10, before it arrived I thought it was dead. No it wasn’t actually, it was really healthy when it arrived. I thought it would be dead because of the cold especially the storm. But no. The soil was dry and I bottom watered it and it’s doing good right now. I would recommend. —— Update 4/30/23 Spectacular growth of star jasmine! Glad I never gave up on it cause I was WAITING for something to happen, and it did and I was not disappointed! And the plant itself does really well in water culture (plain and only water) did I mention that I’m not disappointed? Beautiful plant! ❤️ —— June 4th 2023 Created its blooms! Originally in water but had a nitrogen issue so I transferred it back into soil, leaves staying green and strong, blooms are fragrant but not as fragrant to where it fills the room, smells amazing. Planning to put it outside but I’m not sure because of the weather right now. Definitely would buy again if I had the money. ❤️

I recieved my jasmine plant in October 2019 and the attached images show how the plant is doing as of February 2020. The plant arrived in good condition, although slightly dried out during shipment. Although the plant shed a pair of leaves due to being parched in shipment, it has since bounced back and is growing rapidly. No flowers yet, but I enjoy watching the plant grow. It has done well as an indoor plant.

I received the plant almost on it's last leg. It was so water logged, it was next to impossible to overcome being soaked with so much water. I think the objective may have been to ensure it arrives in relatively good shape. However, packing the plant with so much water, where no air can get in to dry it out, nearly killed it entirely. It only had two leaves that didn't fall off, the rest of the leaves just fell out of the packing, because they had already fallen off while in transit. From the looks of it, I don't think it will survive, as it is on it's last leg.

Just a few inches high, looks healthy, no flowers yet... and it hasn't died.

Give it water and light and it will grow. I had one growing on a trellis at my last house. Too beautiful and hearty to be believed. Sadly I didn't take a piece to root and have been searching for this for a few years. This one is taking off under my grow light indoors. Have patience. Water and keep it warm and you will be rewarded.

The Jasmine was shipped to us on November 29th. Because of the holiday rush it did not get to us until December 21st. I thought for sure it was dead since it had been without water or sun for almost a month. To my surprise it was still super healthy. The soil was still moist and leaves strong and green. The circled area in the photo shows how much new growth has occurred since we got it only two weeks ago. The company was also very responsive and helped with any concerns.

After a little trimming of some unhealthy leaves and spent blooms this girl is more than beautiful. I was so pleased to see that as a bonus, it already has sweet smelling jasmine in bloom. I could smell it as soon as I opened the box. The pot was carefully wrapped in loose plastic to keep the soil in tact and the plant was then surrounded in peanut packing so the plant wouldn't bounce around. A terrific experience all around.
