The probiotics contained in Bio-K Plus are Lactobacillus rhamnosus GR-1 & Lactobacillus reuteri RC-14. The packaging indicates that there are over 2 Billion CFUs of these two strains while the benefit that these strains are said to affect are urinary tract and vaginal health. These are tiny capsules that have no flavor, little to no smell, and are easy to take. I can't really tell if these are doing anything, but I would say that the expected results are preventative

This supplement comes in thin capsules, there’s enough for one month. The box has plenty of information on the health benefits of this supplement. It is easy to swallow and there is no after taste. I take it for ease of mind to lower the odds of urinary tract infection since I had a painful one a year ago. I think it works also to eliminate any discomfort in general. I would definitely buy again for prevention since it has probiotics which can be beneficial in general.

L-reuteri is my favorite probiotic, so I was happy to find this Bio-K+ Women’s Health supplement with RC-14, especially since I haven’t tried this strain before. Limosilactobacillus reuteri is a large family of bacteria, and each of the strains is known for a different health effect, as is shown in many published and peer-reviewed studies. Each strain of L-reuteri is usually also health-promoting in general, beyond the specific use for which it was studied. So far I’ve tried four different strains of L-reuteri, always with positive results. I’ve even cultured homemade yogurt with one of the strains, following the online directions from Dr. William Davis. This bottle of probiotic arrived in a pink, glued-shut Bio-K+ box. Under the bottle cap was a glued-down “sealed for your protection” foil-backed seal. No cotton. The bottom ⅓ of the bottle contained small capsules filled with a light-cream-colored powder. The capsules are odorless and tasteless, and are very easy to swallow. The box and bottle were both stamped with the same lot number and expiration date. The expiration date was 01/2026, or 17 months from date of delivery. The bottle label says to store at room temperature.
