Nothing wrong with it. Tested in boiling water and works fine but I wanted it for a kamado egg type bbq and the thread doesn’t come through far enough as they are quite thick. Someone might have points this out before but I didn’t read any reviews. Seems decent enough though.

Lasting a lot better than the last replacement on my Weber.

Purchased for new BBQ since I broke gauge when installing. Tip is do not over-tighten these gauges when fitting. I would have liked a slightly larger gauge but this unit is OK.. Would recommend.

Retro fitted to a portable Weber Go Anywhere BBQ. It works well and read 100’c when tested on boiling water. Not much more to say than that really.

Seems that, while the temperature gauge goes up to 500degC, the paint used on the dial can't. As can been seen on the pic, the readout has faded from white to brown and is much more difficult to see. In fact it was almost impossible before cleaning rhe glass, which seemed to have had a coating which discoloured and cracked. This occurred at temps up 400degC (though I was trying for 500).

Got this to replace thermometer on the pizza oven. Slightly bigger but a lot easer to read. Used it a few times now and the old one went black however this is holding up well.

Delighted with this product. We drilled a hole in the lid of our bbq and then just screwed this in. We were then able to control the heat and roasted the veg for Xmas dinner which freed up the oven. Will also experiment with roasting meat with view to doing the turkey in there next time.

Very easy to fit in about a minute. The stainless steel bezel is attractive. It seems to be accurate, or a close as can be reasonably expected for a BBQ thermometer. (I tested it alongside a good probe which itself isn't designed to measure air temperature)

Replaced damaged thermometer in new grill. Cheaper than dealing with the hassle of trying to get one from grill manufacturer. Installed super easy, and seems to be accurate enough for what I'm doing.
