They are very absorbent and really hold in the urine so I have less laundry to do and less changing of wet sheets. Other briefs we were using leaked and so we were having to change bed linen every morning. My mom has late stage dementia and urinary retention and we never know when the floodgates will be released. I used to have to wake up early in the morning to change her and make sure her brief didn’t leak. I do use a Poise pad with this and we get a solid 10 hours of absorption so we both can get some sleep at night. To save on cost I use a cheaper brief during the day as she doesn’t go as often.
