This hot plate is totally amazing. I hate having cold dinner so you can warm this stainless steel plate up. Put it in its cradle and not melt or burn yourself. It's totally amazing. I love it.

Previously I used aluminum broiler plates and after reading the dangers of cooking with aluminum, I decided to spring for these stainless plates. After using them several times, they clean up nicely if you put some cooking spray or oil on them first. Even if you had a problem, you could scour them with Brillo. They are heavy, substantial stainless and excellent quality. Once seated in the black holders, you need a knife to get them out, as they fit very snuggly. Warning - don't forget to use gloves when handling hot plates, as these hold the heat well. Perfect for fish.

These are nice steak plates and they do keep your food warm at the table. My disappointment is how easily they scratch when you cut food on them. I'm not sure there is an answer to that problem but after one use they aren't as nice.

The plate gets very hot but then cools very very quickly after removing from heat source. It also scratches easily and food sticks to it. Hard to clean. It's also ugly - not for guests. You might as well just warm a regular ceramic dinner plate. Sometimes I pour boiling water on ceramic plate to warm. Then pour water off before putting food on plate.

I read some professional reviews and write-ups on sizzle platters and so they intrigued me. Most of them seem to be made of aluminum and my family try to avoid aluminum so when we found this platter... why not!? So far I'm extremely pleased with it. I've done both reheat food and make food on it and it has done both jobs wonderfully well! Im going to keep experimenting!

The stainless platter is to large to set inside plastic plate. I had to grind the stainless to fit properly. Now it works and fits great and works fine.

We've been looking fir awhile for this style of plate holder. Most are so expensive and then always a fortune to ship. These are great. It will keep the food hot and free shipping.
