I have used this floss for years but as with many things, it recently hasn't been available in local natural foods stores, so here I am ordering yet another item online. But that's another topic I suppose. On to the review - I like how effective this product is (so good!), but I choose this brand specifically because they don't use plastic. The floss is comfortable on my gums, cleans very well, the mint is not overwhelming or fake tasting/smelling, which I really appreciate. Something important to keep in mind when using this product - In order to keep the box in good condition (which makes it easy to use for the very long time that it lasts) the finger that pushes on the floss to keep it in place while the other hand pulls to cut it should NOT push with downward pressure. Just set the finger down to keep the floss in place while the other hand pulls to cut the length you chose on the small metal piece. If you use force the box will crumple & eventually tear, which makes it difficult to use. My husband suddenly can't use these anymore because he can no longer wrap his head around this idea (lol!) and continues to push down which crushes it & is unusable. I ended up taking his floss out and put it in my empty box to replace the one I used up. It's not hard to be gentle though, and you'll enjoy a good product that is environmentally friendly.

Love the taste and the strength of the mouthwash in general. You really feel clean and the effect last for hours. Too bad it comes in such small bottles. The cost however would probably be prohibitive if they came any larger than these. And of course no bad nasties in this mouthwash either although the glycerin is of some concern. It is vegetable in origin but not so sure this makes it any better. But overall it is a good mouthwash that is better in quality than some I used to use before whose quality went down the sink. Keep up the good work but do something about that glycerine content.

I’ve been using this floss 2+ times per day for over 20 years. I like that the package is recyclable and that each one has so much in it (the length of a football field, minus the endzones). It is very strong and thin which makes it great for getting into hard-to-reach corners. I will be a lifetime user of this product, as other flosses add to plastic in landfills and tend to break.

It's been at least 12 years since I first began using Eco-Dent floss (and powdered toothpaste) and these old fangs are holding up rather well.

Great to have around when you have any issues with your mouth, teeth or gums. Very strong flavor so I had to get use to it but now I am ok with it. I love that it's natural and alcohol free. However I wish the bottle was larger but overall it's a very good mouthwash!

Great floss. Gentle on teeth and gums but quite effective. I have been using them for years. Highly recommended.

Bar none - this is the best dental floss available. And, one can feel good about the environmental impact given the box is paper and recyclable rather than the typical small, plastic case that must be added to land fill. The floss itself is so much better than other flosses. Try it and you'll never use another floss.

I bought this floss product a couple of times now. Given the whole issue surrounding plastic waste, you cannot fault the only ethical and sustainable floss on the market. Biodegradable is the name of the game. I'm certain that for many people this floss serves them perfectly well. Everyones teeth are different right. But I've found the floss seems somehow thicker or wider, because when I try to pull it through my teeth, it sometimes catches initially. So I have to pull quite hard, but then of course it gets through into the gap at quite a force and hits the gum. Also, this means it frays very easily. I assumed this was normal, but then I happened to try a friends Oral B floss which slips right through. To be fair I have also experienced this problem with other plastic flosses, so it seems the Oral B one is unique. Which makes me think this could be solved, because it may not be a unique problem to this silk floss. Maybe it's the coating on the Oral B stuff, which may mean there is no suitable eco friendly alternative. For now I will stick with the Eco-Dent, as it does what it says on the tin, but depends how bad my teeth get in future.
