Amazing this is! I was introduced to this tea by my colleagues when I caught severe cold and cough while on business travel. Being in a different city and different weather, when cold medicines did not work much, this tea did wonders. After having 2 sachets, runny nose stopped and cough reduced considerably. Infact, I ordered for my family and parents too! They loved it and had it everyday in morning during winters and found this to be very effective. I reordered for them and again when winter comes I will again order. Pros: - Ingredient list is all ayurvedic - Sugar used is sugarcane sugar - Easy to use as you just need to dissolve in boiling water. Use less water (maybe 3/4th cup) for better results - Helps control cold specially during changing weather Cons: - Expensive Though on expensive side, this tea is a must try specially for people prone to cold and flu in changing weather

Very nice ayurvedic medicine...I have an allergy issue ..I get my throat all swollen during winter .....which then causes viral fever and I had to take days off from work..last year I started taking this as precautionary measure and it worked wonders ......I had lot of relief in the situation and never had throat bad enough to take a day off .....doesn't really cure cold and bad throat but prevents from the problems and helps containing the issue....at ₹8 a sachet it's a bit expensive but saves many trips to the doctor

So my sister suffered from a lot of bouts of cold and cough, every change in weather made her feel sick. So while browsing for some solutions, I came upon this tea. Initially I ordered it just for trial but after using it for over a year, my sister started seeing the effects of the change. She drank the tea religiously in the morning before breakfast. She stopped getting sick often and her immunity increased. I think the 50 carefully put ingredients are great for us. The taste is good, it’s as good as such a tea is supposed to taste but still I like the taste. Whenever I have a scratchy throat I just gulp down this glass and feel significantly better. This tea has a regular palace in my kitchen.

The product has been around for ages in the Indian market, just never realized its value more than ever in today's stressed out, polluted world. Samahan has been my remedy for the last four and a half years. It actually reminds me of chyavanprash and its non-gooey cousin pankajakasturi. Suffice to say, I'm glad I have been more sincere with this than I was with either chyavanprash or pankajakasturi! In fact, I absolutely love the taste of sampan-infused tea or water. I am a firm believer in the saying, one man's meat is another's poison. But I do hope everyone gives this product a try. It is one of the best herbal remedies out there and certainly a welcome alternative to chemical-based medication. No wonder it's price increased from ₹7 per sachet to ₹8 earlier this year.
