I just started doing reformer pilates. The classes are so much fun, but they are also very expensive. I thought, "I would love to be able do workouts at home with a reformer..." and when I saw this, I knew I had to order it. Was such a bummer because I was seeing some amazing results on this middle-aged bod. My PT recommended Reformer Pilates...said I'd be less likely to injured myself plus it might give me the results that I am looking for. I know the type of people that do reformed pilates and I feel it's a bit of an expensive workout. I have a peloton and all the weights at home, and this just felt like such an investment that wasn't going to be affordableThis popped up and I immediately jumped on it. Price wise, it's very intro priced based on how much these cost and they are generally closer to 1k. I was a little worried this wouldn't be very good quality...but after a week working out on it, I'm impressed! It seems very sturdy and all the parts seem to glide well.It was packed super well which I was appreciative of. The installation instructions could have been a bit more clear but in the end I figured it out...took me about 20 minutes or so. I took a training before this arrived on a reformer as a 1:1 just to get an idea of form, and I think it really helped.I've been following a really great YouTube 28 days pilates classes and it's been going great. I dont really know how/when to adjust all the springs, I wish the manual was clear about that but it is not.The only thing, I am 5'7" and I feel like the board is almost too short for me, my head really hangs off the edge. It would be better if it was 2" longer. If you are taller than 5'7" I think this is going to feel too short for you. There are also some exercises where I feel my legs should be extending more, but stop short because I'm as extended as it will allow.But really thats my only issue.
