What are you waiting for?!
This system is amazing! If you are a complete novice you may want to hire an installer. But its worth it. This is also, when you get right down to how many connection and actual speakers you get here, a 9.1.1 surround setup. With the 10 inch sub the bass is incredible and fully adjustable. The gain and low pass knobs on back of sub and the -10 +10 adjustment via remote. The center speaker has 1 connection. The 2 front surround each have 2 connections 1 for the front facing speaker and 1 for the ceiling facing speaker for a total of 4 speakers. And its the same for the rear surround pair. And yes there is a post on the reciever for each wire connection. Thats Grand total of 10 speakers! 8 regular(4 speaker boxes with 2 separate speaker per box) plus the center speaker then the sub as i stated above its not 5.1.1 its 9.1.1 surround! That being said i reccommend large gauge 4 connector speaker wire(can be found on this site cheaper than anywhere else) Once the physical install was done (I wall mounted my rear pair and my center speaker which took some time and extra effort) the rest of setup was easy. The picture transfer with this receiver is incredible and the sound! If you dont know what klipsch is capable of in general you will not be disappointed. If you are familiar with kilpsch and onkyo at all you probably already bought this setup before you finished reading this review. And no I am not paid for this.

A Very Nice System and Receiver (be aware that it's large!) EDIT: It Blew OUT! EDIT 2: AGAIN!
EDIT 11/8/25 The Onkyo receiver blew out last night while watching a DVD at normal volume. A loud pop and suddenly the receiver will not turn on, except for showing "Volume" on the display for two seconds and then powers back down. I'm going to have to return this item or RMA it Onkyo or something. The speakers still work fine but I'm afraid I might have to return them, too, since it came as part of a bundle. EDIT #2: I just got the receiver back from the warranty service. After doing the housekeeping that the shop recommended (i.e. testing all speakers, trimming some more copper off the wires, etc.) and then reconnecting everything, the receiver worked for LESS THAN AN HOUR before it went kaput again. The shop said that the L and R front terminals blew. They replaced them. And the R front terminal is what is showing on the diagnostics as blown again. I think this thing is a lemon. I will be trying to get a replacement or something. VERY disappointed! ORIGINAL POST: I ordered this set of speakers after needing an upgrade due to blowing out a few speakers on my 20+ year old "home theater in a box" speakers. These speakers sound really powerful and they really are a nice upgrade from what I had. Please note that these speakers are big--borderline shelf-speaker sized. Also, despite all the reviews and other stuff that I read online, these speakers did NOT come with any speaker cables included in the box. Luckily, I had anticipated it anyways and bought a reel of 200-ft of 14-guage speaker cable to rewire my home theater anyway. I would also note that you might want to buy speaker pins to plug any speaker cable into the speaker terminals. It made it very simple compared to a lot of the aggravation that I read about elsewhere online. I tried out a movie with Dolby Atmos last night and it sounded pretty good. We have vaulted ceilings, although my home theater is at the lowest part (ranging from 8-foot to 12-foot ceiling) so it was hard to really tell how much any sound was bouncing off the ceiling correctly. But I could hear it, sorta. The subwoofer, paired with my other sub, adequately made the room rumble and the couch shake. As for the Onkyo receiver that came in this package, it is VERY nice. This is an upgrade from a 10+ year old Denon receiver which was top of the line at the time. My old receiver didn't have 4k and only had 4 HDMI, so this is a nice upgrade, even though I don't have a 4k tv (yet.) Please be aware that if you use it with these Klipsch Reference Cinema speakers, the most you can do is 9-channels--the 5 speakers and the 4 Atmos height. You can NOT add 2 side speakers to make it a 7.1.4 system! I like that the receiver has a lot of functionality and features. I love the results from the Dirac Live setup--I just used the hockey puck microphone that came with the system--and I paid for the Bass Control upgrade for $300 as I now have two subwoofers. It made a difference! I probably need to re-do the Dirac though just to find a different "sweet spot" than my initial settings. Overall, I love my system. I took one star off due to the lack of included speaker cables and incomplete assessment of the Atmos speakers bouncing sound correctly. My review is actually 4 1/2 stars, but Amazon won't let me do that. I kind of wish I could've waited until Black Friday to do the upgrade. Just bad timing on my old speakers blowing. Next up, gotta replace my 20+ year old LED tv. And maybe (that's a big maybe) my 20+ year old blu-ray player.

Dolby Atmos system with Onkyo receiver and Klipsch reference cinema.
Good system to start enjoying Dolb Atmos. Learning how to use the Dirac calibration is taking a bit of time to properly calibrate the system. But it's well worth it.

Happy as can be.....
FAST! Did I mention fast? I live in Montana and got it next day. As far as the system I bought, it's light years better than my older Yamaha system. Everything is clear and crisp. Btw, I got it really fast.

Awesome receiver with Dirac studio, competent speakers
The rz30 with Dirac is an excellent value. Powerful, precise, it allows you to not just compensate the room, but, if you want, design your own experience. The klipsch combo is also a great value. The are not top end. Some much higher priced speakers provide better imaging and transient response...but for the price...these get the 5 stars
