Best value for the price.
I bought my first 5 of these cables in April of last year, and they've done about 30 shows, where they were unwrapped, used, wrapped back up, piled into a milk crate, and hung back up on the wall every show. The quality of the rubber casing itself is very soft, but has NO memory so wrapping them is much easier than other cables at this price point. I recently bought a 3-pack of 10ft Moukey XLR cables and the quality of the wire feels as if it's a power cable with absolutely no flexibility and are impossible to wrap. They were actually more expensive "per foot" than these were. These have been reliable and have been through many tough punk + metal shows and haven't broke a sweat, which actually brings me to one singular issue: the gaskets on the connectors. They get turned, and they don't seal as well as they could, which is particularly important when miking drums. Because, sweat. I shorted the snare mic out because of the rubber gasket on the female connector on the cable itself because the rubber doesn't stay in place, and sometimes causes issues with fully plugging in/keeping moisture from sweat/rain out. Overall, these are genuinely good quality cables with good connectors/solders/wire-casing. Don't waste money on expensive cables unless you're doing legitimate serious studio work and even then these would probably be fine. Also just a tip, don't bother with short cables because they're marginally more inexpensive. When you NEED length, having slack is much more important than having saved $5 on a pack of XLR's.

Good quality - high value!
After trying several different brands of XLR cables I came across these from MSC. The cords are not thin but a nice medium thickness cord that is easy to run and rap up at the end of the job. No faulty cables and so far none have failed. Other value priced cords (blue & gray insert) have bad designed XLR ends that do not seat properly into microphones causing bad connections and headaches. Also I have several MCS guitar cables, they have a 1/4" - 90 angle jack and a straight 1/4" jack, these are also good everyday cables. I will be buying more as I upgrade my studio.

Work’s Well !
I’m using these for my homework, and they are great for the price. I plan to use them on the road and see how they hold up. 😎

Cables are good, connectors are questionable
The cables do what I'd expect them to do - connect microphones. The cable quality seems ok but time will tell with respect to how these cables hold up over the long term. The connectors are not impressive - mine were loose when I took the cables out of the package. It also seems like the rubber boot may not be in it for the long haul since it flexes/bends a lot when connecting/disconnecting the cable and feels like it will rip off.

EXCELLENT CABLES!
We purchased these a couple years ago as a quick stock up for a big show, and we STILL use them in every show for both sound and DMX lighting cables (yes we know there is a difference, but they still work perfectly fine for our uses). These guys have gotten wet, trampled, pulled, thrown around, and still going strong! We have not had to make a single repair to these guys yet!

A name to remember...
I have run pro studio for 35 years...and have bought hundreds of mic cables. Some that have been with me 30 plus years....some that failed in weeks. Some with slightly undersized connectors. So I tend to stay away from brands I don't. I didn't know this brand but the price was reasonable without being so cheap it was a flag. And these actually turned out to some my favorite cables. The connectors fit right. And the wire is very supple and manageable....read easy to wrap and unwrap. And they sound good. I will buy these in the future.

Give the ends a twist to tighten them
Where the plastic meets the metal fitting needs a little twist to tighten up. These fit the bill and seem sturdy enough to run all over the stage (which we did this past week). We'll be rolling them up and stretching them out week to week so we'll find out quickly if these will hold up. But, looking over them and checking fittings to make sure these will do the job is when the "looseness" was found - no big deal. A little twist and taken care of.

Do the job, and a good price
I have used more expensive cords, but found that these are offering the same quality at a better price. When we have country or acoustic artists, the cords last longer, but rock and metal shows tend to put the cords through the wringer: pulling, stepping on, knotting. These have lasted just as long as the more expensive cords, and I don't have to worry about a band trashing one. I bought another set to have on hand since they were so affordable
