I have long (mid-back), SUPER THICK, Type 4C hair ... it's serious. It takes 4 hours to wash/dry and straighten my hair. I used to have a regular silk press appointment, but most of the stylists in my area are focused on weave installations because they make more money vs. styling natural hair (I don't like it...but I get it). :/ So, I'm usually stuck trying to do my hair myself and it's a pain. I tire out mid-way through and my only motivation is that if I don't finish, I risk looking like Samuel L. Jackson in Unbreakable (no offense...luv you Sammy...DC all the way Baby!). But that is NOT work appropriate for me. I experimented with a couple of straightener brushes and found that method works well for me, but still takes a lot of time and I have to work it through a few times to get my hair super straight and shiny. However, THIS little miracle is so easy to use, and the steam feature makes my hair so silky and shiny on the FIRST pass through. I'm hooked! It def gets my hair straight. My hair is soooooo soft and has so much movement when done. If I don't get super sweaty, my hair stays straight for a few days. Gets rly hot in a decent time. It takes half the time than regular flat irons. My only dislike is the smell. I have to do it in the bathroom with my fan on and window open. No matter if my hair is clean or how much I comb it out, it kinda still gets caught, which led to hair getting trapped and the burning smell. I've tried cleaning it many ways (don't use water or it'll stop working 🫣) but the burning smell won't leave.

My 13-year-old daughter requested this for Christmas and then asked that I give it to her two days early. She used it immediately and absolutely loved the results.
