Everyone raved about the bread
My first time making poppyseed bread was a success. One can makes one loaf of bread. I made this for a brunch and it was the first thing gone. That success to me.! easy to use take it out of the can stir it up put it on your bread dough and roll

Fruity taste overpowers poppyseed
I read the ingredients....because the lable said dried fruit Poppyseed....nothing else... it doesn't list anything else on the Amazon description of ingredients Soooo disappointed Opened it and its got fruity smells and taste Going to mix it with real poppy seed ,see if I can get rid of the fruity taste

Exactly what I needed

No poppy flavor
This is a high fructose goo, not at all the rich poppy filling we remember from strudel fillings and even from the grocery store canned product. Not to mention how great the homemade from scratch filling tastes. I usually make my own but thought I would try this in case I was really missing something. If this is the traditional poppy filling that is enjoyed in Poland and that is what you want, then get it. After splurging on this, I thought I should finish it but really can't force myself to. My food rule is that if it isn't nutritious, it should be delicious. This is neither.
