Clamp Pliers for Oetiker Earless Low Profile Clamps Product Group 168

I was banding the boot on my inner cv axel, on a Toyota Tacoma. Tool worked great and was good quality.

Excellent tool.. Works perfectly on the low profile clamps from oetiker. Bolt cutter action tips make it effortless to squeeze the handles. And most importantly, it's 3 x time less expensive than OEM pliers from Oetiker. Highly recommend it.

4 stars only because of price. They work well and should last forever Be sure to pick the correct ears on the clamp, they have enough power to damage the clamp. Used correctly, they work very well. Used on BMW R1200GS

Installed original CV Boots on mY 2011 BMW 750i xDrive i tried regular CV Boot Pliers But No Luck Pliers Bent and the other didnt Crimp hard enough making my boot come off so i had to re do it with proper pliers Worked Perfectly!! Still a bit hard to squeeze but it worked!!

These clamps are a pain, using the right tool makes it a bit easier

I bought these to replace the boots on my Humvee CV joints. I'm not 100% sure these are the right tool for my bands, but these slipped off/ripped the band and cut the heck out the tip of my finger. I bought a different style clamp that has a bolt and this worked as expected. My finger still hurts months later.

Bought these for the throttle body clamps on a BMW motorcycle. Worked perfectly.

mediocre quality, the tips of the pliers do not line up, a shoddy finish and sloppy tolerance in the construction. Something you would expect from the dollar store.
