It looks like the color of the label on the truck of the pen. Metallic gold. Great for touching up frames. Personally, I love this pen. I've only used it indoors but it certainly seems to be waterproof and you could always put a sealer over it.

Is it safe to use on glass plates? Does it need to be baked to cure?

That i can't accurately answer, I had used it on wood and paper. Sorry I couldn't be of more help

I never saw it, if it is. I can tell you..it IS amazing product and looks exactly like 18 K Gold when used.
