This bikini top does exactly what is stated by the manufacturer. It provides coverage for all the passengers. The passengers are kept cool in direct sunlight, even during high noon here in Hawaii.The bikini top is easy to install by yourself. The straps and velcro grip tightly the bars of the Jeep. During fast winds at highway speeds, the top doesn't flap around like one would expect from an open air vehicle.I would recommend this to those who want the open-air feel and also want the relief from the sun.

This is a great product. It does exactly what I expected it to do. I love using this for days when it might rain or when you simply don't want to get baked all day by the sun :-)As a note, when I remove the top on sunny days I take the windshield channel out and attach it by itself to the top of the windshield. That way I don't have to find a place to store it in the vehicle, which would be tough because it is as wide as the Jeep.PROS:1) The Bestop 51243-01 Black Header Windshield Channel for JK Wrangler including Unlimited (sold separately) when combined with this top makes the front edge fit so tightly against the top of the windshield that I think there might be less front wind noise than when I have my hard top installed! It attaches completely securely without drilling and just two thumb knob screws.2) There are so many velcro and pull straps to secure this top that you can rest assured, it isn't going anywhere. I think I counted 18 straps for securing it to the Jeep.CONS:1) Because of the way the straps are attached to the top you aren't able to pull 100% of the slack out of the top. You can get virtually all of it out of the front half. However, the back half dips in a bit instead of stretching taut.2) I would have used a different style of plastic hook for the part that connects to the center roll bar. The included ones are a little tough to attach to the two screw holes in the center roll bar.

You can't beat the quality of this top but the instructions were no good. I had to find a youtube video to figure out the install and that was not correct ether. I found another jeep that had the same top and looked at his install to figure mine out.

This soft top is a lot easier to use and very quick to place on vehicle when you need it most - when it’s about to rain. Definitely will use this brand because it is fast and easy!!!

It doesn’t do good in the rain it holds it and pulls down holding the rain then I have a flood in the Jeep

I received my bikini top and my windshield bikini channel today 6-12-2018 install it on a 2008 rubicon I used the the door surround it will keep rain out love it the fit is ok but need to remember it not factory so happy with that in mind the fit is ok there are some wrinkles and again that’s fine it’s a jeep I take it off road it not a mall crawler if your not looking for a show jeep this is it and it does have that factory black diamond look like stock jeep remember Bestop make the soft tops for jeep I give it a 10 or five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I think Bestop makes a nice quality piece, but I quickly learned that conceptually, the mesh Bimini is just not a smart idea. Driving down the road, the fine mesh really eliminates virtually all air flow from entering the cabin, however the sun still penetrates and beats down on you. As a result, you get significantly hotter than you would with a solid material, and hotter than you would be just having soft top on and windows down. One of the benefits of a Bimini is that you can toss it in the back and throw it on when the skies open, but the mesh top obviously provides no help in that regard.Again, it is a nice quality unit and does everything it promises to, but I would advise anyone considering a Bimini to go with the solid fabric.

I purchased this for my husband for Fathers Day. It was so easy to install and quick! The two of us had it on in about 10 mins. He has the hardtop jeep so we did need the window channel to use. The window Channel was easy to install with the top and the top has a nice fit. We had seen other jeeps with the top on and it was loose and just seemed cheap and this one isn't that way at all. It's a nice tight fit, and looks awesome, durable and good quality. We haven't reached speeds over 55 but going 55 in the jeep the other day it didn't flap and it wasn't loud. Excellent product and Bestop was so helpful when I needed help with part numbers since he didn't know it was coming.
