Definitely a good value and will be my go-to for tenderizing tougher cuts of beef.
It's always nice when you get your money's worth on a purchase. This meat tenderizer is very cool. it's bigger and more substantial than I'd expected. I'm very happy I bought it. I have to say, it is work. The spring is strong. I bought a couple Chuck Eye steaks to try it on for the first time. These steaks were tough. I put on some creole seasoning prior to using the tool. Plunging it in the first few times takes work but as you go you can feel the meat becoming more tender. I did both sides and it gradually gets easier as you make several passes over the entire cut. The steaks came out great if you're willing to do the work. !Definitely a good value and will be my go to for tougher cuts of beef.

AWESOME gadget!
I am not sure how I survived without this thing! I have owned a standard “hammer” tenderizer and got rid of it because it never worked like I wanted. Enter this little device. It cleans easily, works smoothly and does an excellent job of tenderizing without just tearing up the meat. I used this on some HUGE chicken breasts I got and it worked well to help them cook evenly and much faster than I anticipated. With meat prices the way they are, I will now be able to save with some cheaper cuts without dealing with difficult cutting and chewing. I look forward to using this to help with marinades as well. Buy it!

Tenderizes Steaks and More With Ease
This meat tenderizer is a good value, is easy to use and very light weight. Uses include all meats requiring a little extra tenderizer. Small but good quality just watch it doesn’t stick when applied to meat

Stainless steel?
I don’t believe the blades are stainless steel. My blades rusted the first time they were put in the dishwasher.
