Mannequin Head with 80% Human Hair - Straight, 26"-28" Doll Head for Cosmetology & Hairdresser (#27 Light Brown)

We purchased this for our daughter to practice hair styling. The hair is really good quality. Heat styling worked perfectly on this. Great tool to practice braiding and other hair up-dos. My daughter did want to practice make-up application on it. Some would not wash off with soap and water so I tried nail polish remover as I had seen someone else try this. Do not make the same mistake I did. It washed off some of the "permanent" eye makeup. I contacted customer service and they were so gracious to send another mannequin for my daughter. They were quick to remedy my mistake!

When I purchased 2 of these for Xmas gifts for 2 nieces ( 9 and 7) I almost kept one for myself! Unusual as it seemed for gifts for young girls It was the GIFT HIT this Christmas. This hair was beautiful, felt almost real, the removable attachable stand secures to any surface tightly and she comes with some hair tools, hair cluos and bands! I would recommend this for a birthday or holiday gift for any young girl (or boy)! Not just hours but so far months of creative fun! Btw….easily washable!

The hair has a great texture, very close to human hair. The hair is also very thick and long and is very easy to brush with little to no shedding. The product does come with accessories for different hairstyles but I wish it would’ve come with an instruction manual for them. Delivery was very fast (overnight). I purchased the hair mannequin to teach my 8 year old daughter how to braid and to learn some new braids myself and it works perfectly for that. It also comes with a clamp to clamp it onto a sturdy service so the head doesn’t move and that was very easy to assemble and works perfectly. Overall, I’m very satisfied. Also, the price was very reasonable.

I’d like to say I love it, but it’s definitely okay. I feel as when I brushed it, it said the Mannequin Head would shed but it sheds a lot. There was also one little black hair in the blonde hair, but I said that was the birth mark on it lol. Over all the only issues I had was that it says in the listed product that it is 70% human hair but in the description it says it’s 80%. Which one is it? It doesn’t tangle much. It’s easy to play with the hair. You can really do any style. My husband has 4C hair so this mannequin head has been easy to teach me how to do braids, locs, all that fun stuff. It’s definitely good for a beginner like myself. Easy to separate the hair, and my niece loves to play with it too. Over all the quality is good. I’d more than likely purchase again!

First of all it shipped out the same day that I ordered it and I received it the very next day which has never happened. I bought it for my 9-year-old granddaughter she absolutely loves it seems to be a really good quality I am very happy with it

Great mannequin head for cosmetology practice! The 80% human hair feels soft and natural, and the 26″–28″ length is perfect for styling, braiding, and cutting. The hair is smooth, easy to manage, and holds styles well. Excellent quality and great value for students and professional hairdressers.

I bought this prop for my granddaughter so that she could practice both make up and hair styles. The doll head is supposed to be "cosmetology school" grade. I am not so sure anymore as it has a VERY LIMITED use. The hook to be place on the table that allow the head to tilt is small and did not grab on my countertop or dining room table. We used a step stool and that worked fine for a child. Most customers gave it high rating but vast majority utilize it for hair styling. [P.S Hair styling is NOT hair cutting]. What kind of hair styles can you do with this? In reality mostly updo, formal styles. Cutting the doll hair is not a choice, unless one wants to modify it forever. There is a substantial hair shedding too during brushing. The item was well packaged and came with several styling accessories. The hair color did not seem very natural, but that was fine with my granddaughter. I also did not expect to have real hair, most people seemed bothered by the origin of the hair and if it was real or not. OK if you are going to style it only what is the difference? It has hair long enough to learn braiding and updos, 2 stars for that. Make Up applications are a big fail with this doll head. The head has eyebrows painted on so any eyebrow modification is a bit difficult. It has lipstick on ….so ….. I guess the item is not made for make up applications. I gave my granddaughter my make up tools, including blush, eyeshadow, lip pencil and lipstick. Not only the application was difficult because you are trying to cover a doll face with make up to hide the original factory sprayed make up…very difficult to learn this way. Might as well one uses they own face. The biggest problem was that makeup compound was absorbed by the silicone and it could not be removed. Later I read that it was suggested not to leave the make up longer than 1 hr. We left it few hrs on. I tried every possible cleaning solution, starting with a make up remover towelette, and moving on to magic eraser, goo gone ….scrubby sponges…..As you can see form photos it is visible how the lipstick and lip pencil stained the silicon material of the face. So after one use is not good. The texture of the skin is somewhat realistic, and smooth. The doll does not have eye lashes, so it could be used to practice false eye lashes application and removal with special glue. The cosmetology doll head was over priced because it has limited applications. It is not very practical because even an adult in cosmetology school would have limitations if they had to do a make-up demo show because of how the silicon faux skin is prone to staining so easy. *UPDATE* as July 06.2025. The company reached out to me and refund me the money. It was very nice of them and unexpected. I like to upgrade the product to 3 stars for QUALITY OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. The product itself for me is still 2 stars.

I love this product! The hair is super easy to work with but I have to warn you it is NOT real hair so do not attempt to use any heat on the hair!
