It is OK to use them in the morning, as well, though. (I do on occasion if my eyes are really dry and scratchy when I get out of bed, but I don't plan on reading or driving for about 10-15 minutes after use. **Q: Does this really help with blephatis?** A: Systane Lubricant Eye Gel is just a lubricant for dry eyes. I don't believe it would help your problem. **Q: gel vs drops? the difference?** A: To me it is the texture of drops vs gel. I actually use both and tend to want the gel when my eyes feel tired or dry. This is the only drop I use, to me it's the best.
