I went to a Fantasy ball and didn't really had any ideas on what to do with my hair. I suck at braiding and my heatless curls failed. I found this crown on Amazon and decided that I wouldn't have to do anything special with my hair if THIS was my center piece. I was very happy to see the delivery driver drop this item off just one hour before we had to leave for our party. It came in a cardboard envelop which kept it well protected. There were Bobby pins included in the plastic wrapping. It's metal. It's thin metal, but it's metal. Mine didn't feel superfragile, though I wouldn't let a child play with it. I bumped my head a couple of times, nothing is warped or broken off. The ends were squeezing my head just behind my ears, but it's sitting very well on my head. I don't think I needed the Bobby pins, but just in case I used three of them to secure it to my hair. It's not heavy and I didn't feel like I had to move carefully to keep it on my head. I danced, walked, looked at things and the crown did not move or sway or whatever. I did not have to readjust it. Only sometimes I would have to release the pressure just behind my ears. But if you want to look beautiful, you need to suffer (a bit). The moons on the Pearl chains did get stuck into someone else hair once and they would hook under the neckline of my dress sometimes. I got a lot of compliments on it and I felt like a goddess all night. It also made me stand up straighter as it made me feel posh. On our walk back to the parking garage some random drunk dudes made some nice comments and we all know drunk people speak the truth. Buy this if you want to feel like a goddess!

Fabulous, stunning headdress, easy to wear all night, once I’d padded the end a little. I’ve used it for a goddess fancy dress and as a stage costume piece. It gets lots of attention and comments. Buy one!
