Motul MOUNTAIN MOTORBIKE OIL 7100 4T 10W40 4L, Black, 300x234x114, 104092

I buy this oil for all my bikes, it just works, even the gears shift smoother.

I've been using Motul oils now for a number of years, as they're one of the few companies that sell 'real' synthetic oils - far too many major companies market their altered mineral oils as fully synthetic when they're actually not. One of my bikes has run 80,000 miles on this, and the engine still feels like new to me. I do change my oil much sooner than the manufacturers recommended mileage, but regular changes using a decent oil pays dividends in the long run. I've also been running my ride on mower and smaller mower on the same oil and the engines on both are running quieter and cooler. The ride on went in for a service recently to get new blades, etc and the garage were asking about the oil I'm using as the engine runs smoother than most of the others at the same age / usage. 2nd July, 2020 U.K. I've bought this Fully Synthetic 10w 40 Motul oil for my 2006 (last of the line) Triumph Tiger 955i m/c. I bought it from Redcar Services who surprisingly are based in Spain not Yorkshire, but this is a not a problem. Delivery was quite quick. The oil is more expensive than others but I was occasionally having trouble with selecting neutral gear, andthe gear changes were slightly rough. This was not really a worry and I had previously used Castrol 1 (?) for race bikes bought from Halfords. However I was having a read through the previous Triumph Dealer Service History from the early Services about 8-12 years ago and I noticed the Dealer had also used the same Motul 7100 fully Synthetic Oil. So on this oil change I decided that for an extra £10-12 or so if it sorts out the gear changes that were slightly rough and makes them smoother (I had also read this in another review of this Motul oil) then it would be worth it. Hey Presto, it's actually worked the engine sounds sweeter picks up pace a bit quicker (but then it is fresh oil) and the gear change selection is definitely a lot easier and is slicker than it ever was with the Castrol Oil and is back to the more youthful Triumph Tiger gear changes I knew. hope this helps.
