When push the grab bar up vertically, it does not stay up but flop down unexpectedly, this can bee a hazard Updated: received email from the seller HALBH who graciously offers a full refund. The seller/manufacturer advised me to 1/ reinstall the bar 2/ add a clamp via a web link (someone named Stephanie ) but the 2 weblinks did not work. Would the seller/manufacturer kindly re-send me the WRITTEN instructions of both 1/ and 2/ INSTEAD of the weblinks. Thank you in advance as the toilet grab bar is the right size for our bath. Update on February 2024: the Seller sent me the instructions in Word and the video . I had the 2 screws tightened and voila: the toilet bar now stays up when flip up. We are happy with the 2 toilet grab bars

I mounted the grab bar into wood stud/backing (not just anchor bolts). It is extremely sturdy with absolutely no wiggle. I highly recommend.

Ordered this while undergoing a bathroom remodel. Being mobility challenged I needed something to help with stepping into the tub and getting up from the toilet. I wasn't sure about not having a "leg" support, but was able to install into stud. It is so secure. I love it (and love the toilet paper holder too !) The fact that it can be raised and put out of the way for others, is my secondary indorsement. I don't know how I lived without it. (my former clamp on handle put a hole in the wall of the tub - hence the remodel). This solved my problem and I am impressed.

Works perfectly to help people get on and off the boat from the dock. Stainless steel should hold up well in elements, and I like that it can fold up, too. Sturdy, attractive, just the right size. I'd recommend this to others.
