I bought a set (6) of these from the Amazon Warehouse Deals, after seeing a set of these sold at Costco (usually Costco will not sell anything that is low quality). I am very impressed with the quality of these glasses when compared with the ones I have purchased in the past (that break and stain in dishwasher easily). These glasses are high tech and have overcome most of the problems in older generation of glasses. POSITIVES: 1. They are made of *very* clear glass that looks very nice. 2. It is *quite* thin at the rim, but quite resistant to breakage. The son.hyx technology seem to work. 3. They do not get white marks in the dishwasher- a BIG plus. 4. They provide 25 years warranty on chips on the rim or the base- totally unheard of in this product class. 5. There customer service is *excellent*. For an issue with one of the glasses I bought from Costco, they issued a replacement immediately. You just need to attach a picture of the defective product with purchase details. 6. NOT Made in China. NEGATIVES: 1. A bit on the pricey side, but I bought them all from Warehouse deals or from Costco. WIth the kind of warranty and CS they provide, it may be worth it. 2. I am not sure of I want to use these classes for 25 years (-:)). I have bought three more sets of glasses from this manufacturer to replace our aging glasses, and am very happy with the decision. I will highly recommend these glasses if you are willing to pay extra for the quality and durability of higher quality product.

In searching through Amazon for a square based glass, this one at 11 3/4oz never came up. It was only after reading some of the reviews that I realized that these were square based. I had previously ordered the 9 3/4oz from Amazon because that was the largest square based one available. The glasses themselves are fine. Look good, feel good with enough weight. So now I have two sets of square based glasses. Strangely enough, the larger glasses are cheaper than the smaller 9 3/4 oz glasses. Months ago, I had to search through the Amazon UK website for a square based glass such as the one seen in Blade Runner because none were listed on the US Amazon website. But those were just too expensive, compared to these Italian manufactured glasses.

I've had these glasses for years. They are lead free, but extremely clear. They put up with a LOT of abuse ( constant use, dishwasher set to "sanitize" and really hard water), and the oldest glasses ( 7-8 years) look axactly like the newest ones. They really hold up. They are very comfortable in the hand, look contemporary and clean, but not so edgey that they fight with a more traditional setting. Bottoms are nice and smooth and heavy enough to not tip easily. These are great. They are carried at a number of high end kitchen stores, but Amazon had a better price!

Every glass from this order is now officially broken! We had one that was still holding on, but has since shattered in the dishwasher…Bosch dishwasher also…not as damaging or aggressive as other dishwashers. It was very common for them to break one large chunk out of the side of the glass and that has been our experience!

These are my favorite cocktail glasses. They are a good size and hold close to 12 ounces. They have a nice solid heft to them and look classy. All the glasses were formed perfectly at the factory (none of that Pier 1 lopsided junk), and arrived in perfect condition. The glasses are square with rounded edges which give them a neat look. These are high quality glasses and worth every penny. Cheers to Luigi Bormioli Strauss glasses !!!

AMAZON NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO PACK THEM!!! They put a bubble wrapped package inside a MUCH bigger box!!! 1 is broken. I need them for a project so I can not wait to replace them.. Other than that good glass pretty good price.

The first thing I noticed about these glasses was that its walls were not as thin as others. Although not meant to survive drops, it will most likely be able to survive spillovers and dishwashers. The second thing I have noticed was this glass is shaped like a rounded square. The pictures from Amazon makes this less than clear. Lastly, this glass doesn't hold too much liquid. It is large enough to hold all the contents of a single soda can (to the brim). Overall, I am glad I bought these and ordered an another set. Pros: 1)Sturdy. Its walls are thicker than most glasses this size. 2)Elegant looking. It is round square which adds a touch of modernity. Cons: 1)It holds less liquid than it appears. It is barely large enough to hold all the contents of a single soda can (no ice).

Love these glasses. They are a perfect weight for long drinks - great value for money.
