Which one goes on the top ... the convex one or the concave one?

The convex mirror is suppose to keep the evil spirits out and the concave keeps the good spirits in.....therefore, convex is given the top spot of dominance.

Can I place these on the side of my house to deflect negativity from bad neighbors?

I was told by a Feng Shui specialist that yes. I had bought them due to having a cemetery and three funeral homes around me. And that creeps me out. As it turned out the main entrance to the house faces East and I did not need it. I returned the mirrors because it is not recommended to place them inside the home.
